| A friend and I were in New York for 4 days recently and having read about the FoodTours online, decided to book the Chelsea Market one - it being mostly indoors, out of the winter chill. From the minute it began, this was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. Being total foodies, the range of fare on offer really impressed us, with the focus on natural ingredients and sublime taste! The contrasting businesses we got to visit and the seemingly unlimited access we were privy to was unexpected but so very enjoyable! Kurt Upton, our guide was the main reason this tour was as engaging as it was - hilarious and endlessly knowledgeable, Kurt's love of food and enthusiasm for the market, its inhabitants and the area was irrepressible.....to the extent of bringing the 15 of us to his friend Marjorie's bed and breakfast for a peek around!!
We were so delighted to have discovered this New York treasure, we cannot wait to come back, visit the fabulous Chelsea Market again and take part in the Greenwich village tour - I highly, highly recommend an excursion with Foods of New York, a wonderful experience! We've been singing its praises ever since and will be for some time to come!! Michelle - Ireland |

| Great tour. The guide was very knowledgable about the area, vendors, history and about the food. The food choices were good, although I would not have chosen two chocolate bread items. I think that a savory bread at the first bakery (we had chocolate sourdough) would have added more balance to the tastes. I found there were too many sweet items at the beginning of the tour, although everything we tasted was excellent and there was enough of it. I would recommend this tour to any fellow foodies visiting New York. |

| I would recommend this tour to anyone! Wendy did an excellent job of incorporating her knowledge of the area with humor. She was absolutely delightful to take a tour with. |

| This tour was a fantastic adventure for residents and non residents of NYC to learn some great historic and contemporary info, and eat fabulous food. Our tour guide, Diana, a native New Yorker, was fun, interesting and personable! Her knowledge and enthusiasm kept us engaged for three hours plus. Two recommendations: Go hungry and wear comfortable shoes! |

| the tour is interesting and the guide is fun, but the amount of food is clearly insufficient and overall it does not represent great value for money. |

| We learned a lot on the tour and were given plenty to eat. Sam was an excellent tour guide and we will try one of the other Zerve tours next time we are in NY. Highly recommend. |

| Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Found it most thoughtful there was seating available at certain locations and the history of the area added to the enjoyment. Each location provided a wonderful sample of their specialty. It was also very considerate of you to cater to one with an allergy (gluten). The tour guide "Curt or Kurt" was worth the price alone. He really made it a great experience along with the cooking and culture. |

| My grown daughters and I have been to N.Y. many times and for this trip concluded to do more exploring - to learn about the history and culture of different Manhattan areas. This tour suited our intentions perfectly! For the first time we feel that we have a good grasp of the history/culture of Chelsea. Food tasting added a delicious & informative aspect to the already fascinating tour. Very reasonably priced and well worth the time... wished for more when it concluded. We'll do the Greenwich tour next time. |
