Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

This was my second time on the tour, and it was excellent! It was as enjoyable as the first, but had some new hot spots and facts along the way! Our guide Kurt was amazing! He was funny and full of great stories and recipes! I would recommend this tour to any "foodies" out there that appreciate the many treats Chelsea Market and the Meat Packing District has to offer.

Perfect way to spend an informative interesting and entertaining 3+ hours in NYC.

Terrific tour

Many thanks to our knowledgeable and entertaining guide, Kurt. We learned a tremendous amount about the shops and specialty foods. We also had a wonderful tour of the neighborhood. I've already bought tours as gifts for family members.

My partner signed us up for this tour as a birthday present to me, because he knows I'm a Foodie. We had an amazing time. Curt, our tour guide, was the one who made the tour as good as it was. Besides being extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour, including the stores and restaurants we went to, history, etc., he was able to memorize the first names of all 17 of us on the tour within minutes of meeting us. And, his sense of humor had us laughing out loud many, many times. The tour, itself, is definitely worth the money and we went back to a few places right after the tour ended to make purchases. We will definitely be going on more food tours with this company, and bringing more people, too. Anyone taking this tour should make sure they get Curt as their guide. You will NOT be disappointed!!! Thanks for a great time on my birthday.

Christmas gift for the family included three adult grandchildren too. Everyone enjoyed our day together. Bob our guide was enthusiastic and well informed about the history of Chelsea Market and the entire area of the city. When the tour was over everyone wanted to go back to the Market to purchase the things that they had tasted. Red velvet cupcakes, great cheese, chocolate milk, salami, mozzarella plus a few things we hadn't tasted. The pasta at Macelleria was outstanding. We will go back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the Highline. My daughter will submit photos.

a really fun, and delicious tour of chelsea market. As a local, i learned SO much! Lots of cool facts, and lots of amazing places within chelsea market i didn't know about before the tour. highly recommend!

Lived in NY my entire life never been to the market. Was educational and a lot of fun. Terrific tour guide. If your looking for something different to do, go for it!

I have never done a food tour so I did not know what to expect. I have been to Chelsea Market before but not on a tour. I must say that Bob, our enthusiastic and funny tour guide, was great. Very knowledgeable and just a nice guy. The experience was wonderful as I did not have to plan a thing and the places we went were places I did not go into before and tried food I never would have tried having been on my own. It was great to hear all the details about the places and how they got started and what a transformation the building took on. We never waited on line for anything and I would recommend this tour especially if you have never been to Chelsea Market.
