Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

My date and I had a great time experiencing Chelsea Market and surrounding places in the Meatpacking district. Although I am a local, I have not really ventured out there too much and it was really cool to get the inside scoop on how the place was acquired, designed, and how businesses there are still thriving. And of course the tastings were excellent! I highly recommend this tour to anyone. The tour itself is a few hours but it goes by quickly, you feel a lot more knowledgable about the area after, and you get to experience great food items.

the highlight of the tour was our guide Bob. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Even as a local, we were impressed with the history of this area. Where i expected the food to be my favorite part of the tour, the same actually was my least favorite part.

Cindy is a great tour guide, so knowledgeable about NYC. Adds a humorous touch and really cared that each person was enjoying themselves. Food was great and truly filled me up. Thanks. Will do the Village tour in spring.

I enthusiastically recommend this tour. Not only was the food excellent, I learned a great deal about New York City in the process. The tour guide Bob was excellent, he was funny and definitely enhanced the quality of the tour with his humor and knowledge of the city and the Chelsea area. My only recommendation would be to make sure you bring additional water as you only get one bottle at the beginning of the tour.

It was alot of fun, something different to do and we could not ask for a better guide. I wish we could have had some more time in each place to look around to decide what we wanted to come back and buy later in the afternoon. We were there for the Sunday morning tour and once we were finished it was very crowded and we did not want to go back into some of the stores as the lines were very long. Would recommend the early tours for sure.

This was my second time on the tour, and it was excellent! It was as enjoyable as the first, but had some new hot spots and facts along the way! Our guide Kurt was amazing! He was funny and full of great stories and recipes! I would recommend this tour to any "foodies" out there that appreciate the many treats Chelsea Market and the Meat Packing District has to offer.

Perfect way to spend an informative interesting and entertaining 3+ hours in NYC.
