| I had a great time on the tour. Bob was very knowledgeable and cordial. He did a great job! I especially liked The Lobster Place when he pulled the lobster out of the tank to show us, Del Posto and Chef Mormito's place. The grand finale was the view from the top of the last restaurant we visited.
It would have been nice to stop on the FoodNetwork floor and pop our heads in, however I imagine that might take some string pulling.
Overall, I loved this tour! |

| This tour takes three hours, the first two hours inside Chelsea Market, and the last hour outside touring the neighborhood. I enjoyed hearing about the history of Chelsea Market and tasting various foods inside the speciality shops, but found the last hour outside, when the tour guide pointed out high-priced Manhattan real estate, rather boring. I would suggest future tours spend three hours inside Chelsea Market, with more tastings and a tour through Food Network studios instead of peeking in the Buddha Bar and other high-priced restaurants.
There is a place for the outside tour, but this should not have been it. If this change cannot be effected , then I suggest the tour be shortened to 2 hours, all of it inside Chelsea Market. |

| Hi- I've been on your Greenwich tour as well and I prefer that one better than this one: the food was more spaced out with the walking, the order of the food was better. On this tour, we started with a wonderful cookie that should have been the last as dessert. The visit at Buono Italy should have been first with the bread and the meats. Our tour started at 11:30 so that would have made sense to have the first tasting at that time with the meats, cheese and bread. Unfortunately with the way all the eateries are contained in the market, it's understandably hard to space out the walking with the eating. I really enjoyed the history of the area. Most of the walking was done after we left the market, so ... I'd recommend the Greenwich one to friends before I would this tour. I'm going to try the Chinatown one next, so I hope you'll get that up and running in time for the fall weather. |

| Expected the tour to be more like the Village tour. Disappointing that 99% of the tour was in just one building. Meatpacking portion of the tour was extremely brief and of little value. Our guide had nearly lost his voice from some activity the night before, so it became very irritating to have to strain to hear him and to constantly be told to gather in closer to him so he wouldn't have to talk louder |

| A work colleageue in SF recommended this tour. I am from SF, my friend who I was visiting, lives on Long Island. We loved it and Sam our tour guide was great, very personable and enthusiastic. I didn't know anything about the Chelsea Market, and since I Iove to cook and eat , it was right up my ally. We both loved hearing about the history of the market and surrounding area. We also loved the treats served along the way. I would highly recommend this to a local or an out of towner. In fact, my New York friend is thinking about doing this as a birthday celebration with some of her girlfriends. I only suggest that you come hungry, as you will fill up on some very tasty food during the afternoon.
It's a great way to spend an afternoon in NY, particularly if you are a return visitor to Manhattan, looking for something different, or a local wishing to learn more about the area. |

| It was very interesting and the food options were awesome. Sam, our guide, was great. He knew the history of each of the stores that we vistited as well as the area outside the market when we took the outside tour. He kept our attention the entire time. I could have gone another 3 hours. Thanks for having a different type of tour! You get more of the New York vibe !! |

| We really enjoyed this tour. There was quite a lot of walking involved, but the Chelsea Market was fully under cover, and had nice smooth walkways which made access nice and easy, as I was travelling with my sister who uses a walking frame - the tour would be accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs etc.
The tastings were great - really good cookies at the first stop, and our guide was very informative with history of the area - and amusing too. Then we walked through the meatpacking district, which was a little harder for anyone with wheels, but still accessible, and our guide made sure we were able to keep up.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend it to anyone else, and would like to try some of the other tours if we are ever back in New York if they are as good as this one. |

| This is the second time I had taken the Meatpacking Tour ... I went on the tour about 5 years ago, and subsequently recommended it to visitors to NYC. A lot has changed in the Meatpacking District and I took the tour again, it was fabulous. Our guide, Bob, was extremely knowledgable, with a lot of anecdotal, funny stories to tell. The tastings were super. A great afternoon out, I would strongly recommend to tourists and locals. Christine Tjan |
