| Perfect tour for a stormy New York afternoon. Sam made the tour both entertaining and informative. He was quick enough to make it possible for us to see all vendors without feeling rushed. His knowledge of the building's history as well as the products being offered by the current tenants was impressive. All the vendors made us want to come back when we had more time to shop at a leisurely pace.
I would recommend the tour and Sam to others without any reservation. In addition, my wife and I are investigating the Greenwich Village tour for a subsequent visit to NY with friends. |

| We enjoyed our food tasting tour so much. All the food tastings and everything else extra information, for example about the Meatpacking district, was so interesting and well told. Our language skills are not so great but it was not a problem. We understood almost everything. The guide Sam was great! Three hours went too fast.
We warmly recommend this tour to everyone. Go there! |

| This tour is definitely worth the time and money. Several top shops are visited within Chelsea Market, as well as popular restauants of the surrounding area. The tastings are all of very high quality foods. There was more than enough food provided to suffice as a meal for lunch. The tour guide was fun, nice, and very knowledgeable, not the 'corny' type that I have encountered on many tours that is simply performing for tips. And, not only do you get to taste great food, you learn the history and other facts about the area while you are at it. Highly recommended! |

| This was our second "Foods of New York” tour, with our first being the Greenwich Village tour. While my wife and I enjoyed the tour of Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District, we both agreed we enjoyed the Greenwich tour more.
With that said, it was nice to have about 75% of the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour inside (of the Chelsea Market), as the temperatures outside were pretty chilly. We were exposed to some wonderful venues within the Market, and will definitely return there on a return visit to NYC. There was such a wonderful vibe in the market with so many different shops, it was really enjoyable. We also hit Morimotto's and Del Posto, which were neat to see inside of and without the crowds and noise during normal operations. Del Posto has been on our short list of places we'd like to dine, and this tour has further bumped it up the list.
I think the things we didn't really like (as compared to the Greenwich tour) were that we didn't really get the "neighborhood" type vibe. This is probably more a product of the areas of town, and not really something that was "wrong" per say with the tour itself.
I would say that if you have to pick one and the weather is going to be decent, go with the Greenwich tour. If you're looking to do another tour and/or the weather may be a bit inclement, I'd definitely recommend the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour. |

| This was our second food tour, the first being in New Orleans, which was very enjoyable. The amount and quality of food on the Chelsea Market tour was much better. The tour was very interesting and we would recommend it highly. |

| We booked the tour not expecting a lot but expecting a average time. We were totally surprised by the tour guide, Sam and his knowledge of all that we learned.
It was a very interesting way to spend 3 hours in New York City. I would not suggest you bring children or teenagers unless the teenagers are interested in history and food.
Overall we got more than we expected and would highly recommend this tour for foodies and the "not your regular tourist". |

| My wife and I took our 22 year old daughter, her roomate, and our 14 year old son. Everyone had a great time!! The presentation was informative, and the food was great! The day was freezing, so it was nice that most of the tour was inside Chelsea Market. We did the Greenwich Village food tour 2 years ago, and it was also cold, and that tour was mostly outside. I would not recommend this tour for small children, because I fear that they would become antsy. But, all in all, the Chelsea Market tour was well worth the money! |

| I can't imagine a better 3 hours in New York. Our tour guide, Samson, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic without being cheerleader-annoying. The selection and quality of food was top-notch. Definitely don't eat lunch before you go, though! |

| Our tour was fantastic. The food is excellent, and gives you a great variety of types of food. Our tour guide Sam could not have been better. He was energetic and very knowledgeable about both the food we were eating and the history of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District. This is a great option for a date or just for a group of friends, especially for foodies. |
