| We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to New York. It was very interesting and informative and a great opportunity to get a little insight and history on a most fascinating area of the city. Our guide, Darrel, was funny, knowledgeable, entertaining and gracious. He took our preferences into consideration and tailored the tour to suit the needs of the group. The tour was just the right combination of information, walking and great food. |

| Great food, great history -- and a bargain! When they say you won't need lunch after the tour, they mean it. This tour is a MUST! |

| We were celebrating a friends 50th birthday - we are all from CT and not an "easy" crowd.
We had a wonderful time. Kurt, the guide was intersting, knowlegable and quite amusing. We were stuffed from the food samples...
The pamphlet with the info of the area was great. Would definitly do another tour with this company. |

| The guide was informative about the history and culture of the area. She was lively, personable, and kept the tour interesting until the last half hour. We were all hot, tired, and ready to call it a day.
She held out the dessert as the incentive for holding us on a dirty, noisy, street corner until she ended her presentation. It would have been much better to walk us back to Chelsea market and finish in a pleasant setting in climate controlled circumstances.
My guest and I were not especially impressed with the samplings. The brochure showed pizza and a lovely display of desserts--neither were offered or mentioned in the lecture about where to find these items. Also, the ticket/Internet info stated that we would visit the Fruit Exchange. This establishment was not visited or an explanation given about why not.
My guest and I did not like the dessert given to us on a dirty, noisy, street corner. |

| This was a very fun and informative tour. Our guide, Curt, was very knowledgeable about the area, the foods and Chelsea Market itself. He was super enthusiastic, entertaining and obviously loved what he was doing. He has a tremendous rapport with all the merchants in the Market as well as in the Meatpacking District. I was very impressed with his ability to remember everyone's name and where we were all from and there were 16 of us on this tour! I would reccomend this tour very highly, especially if you can have Curt as your guide. Be sure that you are hungry when you go because otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the wide variety of foods that you can sample! |

| My husband found this tour online and booked it for me, him and our 3 year old. It was fantastic! Our tour guide was awesome. The group was just the right size. We got a chance to walk around the Chelsea market and sample some of the wonderful food there. Than we had a guided tour of the meatpacking district, including an exciting history lesson and a stop for a bite to eat at a neighborhood restaurant. We will definitely be back in that area when we visit NYC again. I have already recommended the tour to my relatives that live in Jersey! Except for a few inaccessible spots with a stroller, the tour was even enjoyable with a toddler!
I would definitely recommend this tour and I will probably go on another tour offerred by this group in the future! |
