| The guide was knowlegable and enthusiastic. The tour is a great blend of food tastings (lobster bisque, chocolate milk and cookies, Italian antipasto, bread, fruit spreads, unusual tea, etc.) combined with a historic tour of the Chelsea market and the meatpacking district from the revolutionary days to the present day upscale developments. We also had the opportunity to take a peek into some of the most exclusive eateries in town (Budda Bar, Morimoto. Pastice).
Highly entertaining and delicous. |

| We had taken the Greenwich Village tour a few years ago and loved it. I think we were expecting a similar tour - especially since your instructions indicated to dress for the weather. We were in Chelsea Market for 2 1/2 hours of the tour, carrying heavy coats, scarves, gloves, etc. Most of that time we were standing and listening or noshing. Samson was a great tour guide. However, if you're going to be inside that long, it would have been nice to know it in advance and also it would be nice to have a place we could have left our coats. In the Greenwich tour we would walk, stand a little, nosh and walk. I preferred that to very little walking and mostly standing. Having said that, the food was great and the background stories were fun otherwise. |

| This was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday! I moved to NYC several months ago but had not been to Chelsea Market. I will now go back on my own, but will be sad not to get "free" treats. The food was all delicious and a great variety was offered. The tour guide, Samson, was new but still confident and knowledgeable. As a real "foodie," I wish we had learned more about the process of making the food or the ingredients of some of it. Would have been good to talk the bakers/chefs/etc. instead of just hearing from the guide. Nonetheless, a great experience. I'll definitely do the other FoodTours experiences, as well! |

| My husband and I had toured Chelsea Market 18 months ago and enjoyed it so much that we invited friends to join us for our second visit. They just kept repeating, "How fun is this!" at each and every stop. Our tour guide, Darrell (sp?), was fun and informative and we ended up friends. The market itself was, again, clean, attractive and inviting. The "tastings" were delicious at every stop. We will definitely visit again. |
