The tour covered a lot of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking district. We found it to be very informational and the food was very tasty. I would add one or two additional tastings or give guests a parting 'food' gift/gift certificate to make the cost more justifiable. |

I have been on several different food tours throughout New York and this experience was one of the best. I loved the diversity of the food and the education that went along with it. Each food was delicious and fresh. Eric, our guide, was hysterical and very vivacious! I brought my niece and nephew, who were visiting from California, and they said that the tour with Eric was their favorite part about visiting Manhattan. I highly recommend this tour and I would do it again! |

We were having a fun girls day and wanted to explore a part of NY that we don't know well. We had so much fun we are planning to book the other tours next time we are in the city. The merchants we visited were friendly and the food was fantastic! We spent 2 hours in the market after our tour shopping and eating. Our guide, Kurt was knowledgeable and hilarious! We highly recommend this tour. |

Kurt provided fun facts, fabulous food and a comedic tour of the beautifully renovated Chelsea Market. We started with a 10:30 am pick me up of of a Red Velvet cupcake at Elena's then ate our way through the market at a butcher shop, seafood market, candy store, Italian market, a local residence, and local restaurants. |

I really did not know what to expect and was extremely pleased with our tour of the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District. Our tour guide Cindy was terrific and had a sense of humor. The tour was very interesting and the food tastings were extensive and more than I had anticipated. I would definitely recommend the tour and I would be happy to try another tour with the same tour company. |

Was so excited to take our Food Tour and we were not disappointed! Besides the great food we sampled we also were exposed to the rich history of the area. Alot of " I didn't know that!" was heard throughout the day. I am looking forward to another Food Tour! |

This is my second tour (my friends and I did the Greenwich Village Tour last November). During the Chelsea Market/Meat Packing District tour, I enjoyed myself immensely. The tour guide, Darryl, was incredibly knowledgeable; (the historic content he provided was amazing). Darryl was also very entertaining and gets a double thumbs up from my entire group. The food samplings were all very good / delicious; however the balance of savory/sweet should be addressed. Although it was quite yummy, starting with a cupcake at 11:00 am wasn't what we imagined. I had a great time and would do another, different tour again, this particular tour was too heavy on sweet / dessert-like tastings. |

My friends and I have been on the Greenich Village tour twice. We wanted to expreience another Food Tour and Chelsea Market sounded interesting. My favorite part of the Food Tour is all the historical facts you learn from your Tour Guide. Bob was our guide and he was very knowledgable and friendly. He spent a lot of time with us. I know it's a "food tour" but the fun facts you learn is something to tell your family when you go home. My favorite food on this tour was the Chocolate Milk. Bob said it would be like drinking soften chocolate ice cream and it really was! The sea food place was my least favorite place, but only because I don't like sea food!! I tell my husband about the tours and he says he'll come on the next one, but never does. His loss! Keep up the good work! My co-workers want to go on one of the tours. I'll have to arange a Tour when I can book all 16 spots for my co-workers and maybe my boss. See you in the spring! |

I gave this tour to my husband as a birthday present based on a recommendation from a friend. My husband's father was a butcher who had his own business in Queens more than a half century ago and he would accompany his father to the Meat Market as a youngster when his father would go to pick up meats. While we have visited Chelsea Market over the past several years, we never had the opportunity to learn the history of the building and he had not been back to the Meat Packing District in many years. It brought back many fond, nostalgic memories for my husband. Our tour guide, Diana was very enthusiastic and interesting as she provided many bits of trivia about the area. The food tastings were yummy, culinary treats and certainly offered more than enough food for a lunch. The building has been renovated and used in such an interesting, artistic and unique manner. We appreciated the opportunity to visit and tour the Morimoto and Del Poso Restaurants up close and personal. And then, walking on the highline in NYC, going to the Meat Market area and learning about how the Chelsea Market has been responsible for so many positive changes in the community over the years, was so informative. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and we will be back with family and friends to do this tour again and try some of the other tours you provide. |
