| I was with a friend and this was the only activity she really enjoyed of the 4 days we spent in New York. Our guide was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient and understanding. What more could you ask? All of the food sampled was excellent, and it was interesting to learn the history of the area and to find out what will be happening in the neighborhood. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting tour of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District! Our guide, Ed, was a fellow "foodie" and kept us interested and entertained while he shared the history and inner workings of the market and the Meatpacking District. In addition to the variety of delicious and generous tastings, we felt like we really got to know the area. It was fun to peek inside some of the new trendy restaurants. We even went back later to shop and have dinner! Highly recommend! |

| Really enjoyed the tour. Darrell was insightful, fun and very energetic. Would have liked to do more tastings outside of Chelsea market in the meat packing district, but that would be my only regret. |

| This tour of the Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District was FANTASTIC! The food we sampled was delicious, and from places we probably never would have found on our own. We had plenty of food - and even came hungry as others recommended. Our tour guide was excellent - he was full of interesting information, was funny, friendly and did a great job. I'm so glad my husband found this tour information online - now I can't wait to do another one in a different area. My husband and I have spent plenty of time in NYC and crossed off all the "Have to do" touristy things, so we're always looking for something new to do - this was a great part of our latest trip in an area of town we had never really visited. I've suggested these tours to several people already and know we'll do a different one the next time we're in The Big Apple! Thank you for a wonderful experience! |

| my family (husband and 2 kids, ages 12 and 16) have done 2 other of your tours, and this one was terrific. we were pleasantly surprised, and sam did a super job in many ways:
he learned each of our names right away (that's a daunting task)
he joked around while teaching us historical facts
his enthusiasm was contagious
he was great with all types of people (my kids, the int'l tourists, and all)
he made us feel comfortable and involved in the tour -- rather than being
lectured he involved each of us with eye contact and fun questions
cant wait til you guys offer more tours of the city -- how bout harlem area? or
arthur avenue? or lower east side? or even upper east/west manhattan?
we will sign up for every one -- we find it fun, informative, and yummy!
you do a great job and thank you again to sam from sam/emily/john/ellen |

| Our family had the good fortune to experience the Greenwich Village Tour several years ago during a freak blizzard in March. The intrepid guide and the group soldiered on through the blinding snow for three hours. Although completely frozen, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and loved the guide with his interesting stories, remembered long afterwards. So, we enthusiastically signed up for the Chelsea Market Tour for our trip to NYC this August. The day of our tour dawned a stiffling 98 degrees!! We decided that it was our family's fate to go on Food Tours during extreme weather conditions. But once again, the tour was worth withstanding the blazing heat. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge, and we sampled wonderful treats. We would do it again--maybe next time during a typhoon. |

| I have attended 2 other food walking tours and I have never been disappointed. This tour was no exception. We had rainy weather which made walking through the Chelsea Market perfect. Our guide, Curt, was fantabulous. His creative one liners took entertainment to a whole new level. Give this guy a stage. I could have gone another three hours listening to him. The food choices were varied and delicious. I was definitely full afterwards. Can't wait to try another food walking tour in the future. A definite must for any trip to NYC. |

| Chelsea Marketplace is an awesome place for a foodie. However, the tour would have been even more interesting if we could have visited more places outside of the marketplace and sampled foods from some of the establishments in the neighborhood.

| I had some time to kill and a friend of mine recommended that I do a food tour. Not only did I absolutely enjoy my time on the tour, but it turned out to be a highlight of my trip. Our guide was not only knowledgable, but also very entertaining. The food was delicious! If you are interested in learning about how food inspired a certain area of the city and also getting a taste of the local cuisine, I would highly recommend doing a food tour. What I liked about Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District is that it was mostly inside and then when we were outside, it wasn't that far of a walk. I also loved that Food Network is headquartered here, and we got to see a Food Network star. Overall, I give it a 10! |
