| First of all, I think the reason our tour was so successful was because we had THE BEST tour guide. His name was Kurt and he was funny, engaging and a real joy to be around. His knowledge of the area was outstanding and most helpful in relating to what we were seeing, eating and experiencing.
The order in which we tasted food from the different establishments was a little weird (i.e.,we had hugh cookies to begin with, etc.) but other than that Chelsea Market was a very fun and inviting place to tour and the food was excellent. We did go back to Chelsea Market after the tour to purchase our favorites to take home to California.
I would highly recomment this tasting tour. (And don't forget to request Kurt as your tour guide!) |

| I would highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide, Curt was extremely knowledgable and engaging. I honestly think that everyone on the tour would say something similar. I did the same tour about a year ago and also had a good experience. This tour was different than the last and that made them both enjoyable. |

| My sister and I brought my mom on this tour for her birthday. We are front New Jersey and often go to NYC. We were looking for something different to do (we always go out to dinner and see Broadway shows). This activity was perfect for us. We got to eat, found out a little history about the area, and had a great time. OUr tour guide was excellent, too. My mom is very hard to please and she left the tour saying she would do it again anytime! |

| I live in Chelsea so I know the market pretty well. Our tour guide was nice and fun but I think that not worth it. I was hoping for more historical information and access to areas that aren't available to the public. The historical facts were foggy at best (dates were specific down to centuries ie. 1800s and dollar figures were expressed in nebulous terms like "godzillions"). I was hoping for the tour to be more informative. It was also loooong. I knew that it would be 3 hours but I did not think that it would be filled with so much time waiting to go on to the next vendor. I would recommend taking the money that you would have spent on this tour and just go to the market and buy a bunch of food, ask vendors questions and be done with it in half the time. |

| This tour was recommended to me and certainly lived up to my expectations. In addition to spectacular food (including the best oatmeal raisin, chocolate chunk, oatmeal, cranberry, nut cookie and the best chocolate milk we've ever had), the tour included a fascinating walk through the history of the meatpacking district. Great for locals or tourists - you won't be disappointed! |

| Our guide Diana was very pleasant; it was a joy to work with her. The tastings were more than expected, quality and quantity wise. What a fun afternoon and a great way to discover the city. |

| We had a truly fantastic time on this tour. It was a cold, blustery day out, but as other reviews have stated, this particular tour takes place mostly indoors. We were inside for the first two hours, and even in the last hour, we were only outside for at most 10 minutes at a time. So this one is perfect for the winter months.
Due to the weather, my husband and I were the only two people on the tour. This could potentially have been uncomfortable, but happily, we LOVED Kurt (sp?) the tour guide, who was funny, charming, conversational, and infectiously enthusiastic throughout. We both remarked afterwards that it felt like we had spent the afternoon with a friend... who just happened to know all the people and history and restaurants and surroundings of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District like the back of his hand.
Last but not least, the food was amazing. The items may change from tour to tour, but on the day we went, we had an "everything" cookie, gourmet chocolate milk, lobster bisque, organic bread, a sampling of various Italian foods, cheese/preserves/crackers, fruit spreads with biscuits, berry tea and gelato. We are big eaters but were definitely very full by the end. We have been recommending this tour to everyone we know! |

| The tour was great and there are no words to describe Curt. We loved him, he helped made the tour one we will recommend. We waited for him to speak hanging on his every word because we knew it would be informative and very funny. Thank you Curt |
