This is the second tour I have taken (Greenwich Village was the first). They are both great! We had a girls trip to New York and each person enjoyed it tremendously. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking to see a new area of the city, enjoys food, enjoys history, or just wants to have some fun! Cindy was great...high energy and very informative! I am looking forward to coming back and taking the SOHO tour! |

This was the highlight of our four day stay in NYC. Our guide, Curt, was terrific...high spirited, friendly, knowledgable and entertaining all wrapped into one. The behind the scene tour of the Chelsea Market was really quite outstanding. The food sampling along the way was generous and delicious and Curt made things come alive with his energy and humorous banter. Once out in the meatpacking district...Curt was able to describe the history of the area, its recent development and show us several resteraunts and venues of interest. It was a full three hour tour and each of us were glad we had decided to go. What a great deal for the $'s. And in NYC ...who would have guessed. I give the tour two thumbs up and an Exclamation Point. If you go...ask for Curt and tell him John from St. louis sent you. |

We attended the Chelsea Market food tour, with tour guide Bob. Our group of five family and friends included 40-somethings, 20-somethings and a teenager. Some of us hail from Boston, and some have recently relocated to the financial district of NYC. We all had a wonderful time exploring and learning the history of the Meat Packing District, while tasting great food. Bob went above and beyond (literally! we went to the roof top of a hotel for a panoramic view, and we were privileged to get a sneak-peek into several highly desirable restaurants owned by some of the area's top chefs) all while treating us to insiders knowledge of the district. When the tour concluded we couldn't help but return to Chelsea Market to purchase the fixings for what turned out to be a wonderful dinner! If you enjoy cooking, we suspect you'll do the same. |

This was our second tour (the first was the Greenwich Village Tour) and we loved both. The guide was entertaining, knowledgeable and friendly. The food tastings were excellent. Do not eat breakfast before you go. The cookie from Eleni's and the bisque from The Lobster Place were enough for a meal, not to mention all the other tastings. Highly reccommend. We plan to do the Soho/Central Village on our next visit to NY. |

A full 3 hours of food, fun and facts on Chelsea Market. and area. Coming from NJ, I would HIGHLY recommend this tour! Could not find the $12 parking that was recommended, so be sure you have the exact facts on it before going (15th st. btwn 9 & 10th Ave.) |
