| I'm from New Jersey and have been on many walking tours in New York but this is definitely the best. Lots of good food and a knowledgeable and fun guide. Don't miss it! |

| We had a truly fantastic time on this tour. It was a cold, blustery day out, but as other reviews have stated, this particular tour takes place mostly indoors. We were inside for the first two hours, and even in the last hour, we were only outside for at most 10 minutes at a time. So this one is perfect for the winter months.
Due to the weather, my husband and I were the only two people on the tour. This could potentially have been uncomfortable, but happily, we LOVED Kurt (sp?) the tour guide, who was funny, charming, conversational, and infectiously enthusiastic throughout. We both remarked afterwards that it felt like we had spent the afternoon with a friend... who just happened to know all the people and history and restaurants and surroundings of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District like the back of his hand.
Last but not least, the food was amazing. The items may change from tour to tour, but on the day we went, we had an "everything" cookie, gourmet chocolate milk, lobster bisque, organic bread, a sampling of various Italian foods, cheese/preserves/crackers, fruit spreads with biscuits, berry tea and gelato. We are big eaters but were definitely very full by the end. We have been recommending this tour to everyone we know! |

| We had a group of four including one 7 year old. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed this tour. One member of our group has lived in New York for 17 years and never knew this existed. He loved it and said he would tell lots of people about it. We have already told friends about this and said it is a MUST SEE! The food was delicious that we sampled and it was incredibly informative. Our tour guide was fun and made the tour enjoyable. After teh tour we went back to the stores and shopped to brinig back treats for ourselves and family members. |

| I've taken the Greenwich Village tour from the same company twice before and that one is perhaps a fraction more enjoyable, particularly the "eating" element of the tour.
However once outside Chelsea Market, I actually found the historical details of the Meatpacking district and the story of how it has recently developed to be fascinating and well told. Bob, our guide, seemed to have a good grasp on the facts and presented the information in an entertaining fashion.
A couple of the tastings were unremarkable (the milk place springs to mind) and I would have been happy to miss that out and spend longer looking around establishments in the Meatpacking district. |

| We would all like to say how much we enjoyed this tour. We had already been on the Greenwich Village tour and thought that was great. This was even better. Our tour guide, Bob, made this tour outstanding.
Bob was interesting and informative.

| My husband & I went on a Fri. 12 noon tour, it was a surprise for his b-day. We are from Long Island and go into the city often, it was so nice to do something different than Midtown shopping, sightseeing and the theatre. We really enjoyed learning about the area. The tour guide Kurt was wonderful, he even sang Happy Birthday.
I would definately do it again, the food was great, the shops were amazing, we went back to the market on Sun. to bring stuff home. |
