I had been referred to Food Tours of NY by a friend who did the West Village on and loved it. My mom and I decided to try the Chelsea Market tour and haven't stopped talking about it and recommending it to friends and family. Diana, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The overall tour was very interesting, well-paced, and covered a lot of ground (there was a decent amount of walking but we really did talk about each vendor in the Chelsea Markets as well as a few in the surrounding area). The food was delicious and definitely enough for lunch. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone, local or not, just looking for a fun afternoon in NY unlike one that you'd usually stumble upon. :)

The tour was excellent. The history of the area, buildings and rails was new to me. Cindy made it great. Will sign up for more and will tell my friends about it! The food was amazing too

We're fairly local yet it took friends from out of town to tell us about this amazing experience. Tour guide was excellent - his sense of humor, his knowledge, and the FOOD! Oh my god. We loved it. We laughed, we ate, we enjoyed the historic walk through the Pier. I'm telling everyone about it and would definitely be interested in signing up for other similar tours.

Bob was an excellent tour guide for the Chelsea Market. Even though I do not live that far away I had never been to the Chelsea Market and did not know what to expect. What a treat! The tour was well organized, informative, and the food was delicious with a variety of foods for everyone's palate. I would definitely recommend the Chelsea tour for all ages.

Ready to Go Again Already!

This was my second tour. I have also done the Original Greenwich Village Tour. Both are excellent, and so are the guides. Amy for the first and Curt on this one. Tons of information and fun and food. I would recommend this for anyone who loves food and especially those who want to try something new in the city outside of the touristy traps- Times Square etc... It is fabulous!

Took my teenage son, who happens to like history and is a foodie and we both enjoyed it very much. We live in metro area and it was a fun ann different thing to do, The price was what decided it for me. Reasonable and doable. Would want to try other food tours.

This tour was nonstop fun from start to finish. Our guide Kurt was so entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about the food and culture of Chelsea and the Meatpacking district, that we plan to attend The Greenwich Village tour in which he is also a guide. We ate lots or gourmet goodies from Chelsea Market and had a great meal in the Meatpacking district. Saw alot of cool spots for nightlife that we didn't know existed, and we've lived in NY our whole lives! Two thumbs up! Would highly recommend this tour!
