| My wife and I had done this tour previously and enjoyed it. We were very happy to enjoy it again this time with my parents. Fortunately the tour was just as wonderful as the first. |

| I had participated in this tour previously with friends and wanted my husband to experience it. We enjoyed it, but not quite as much as the Greenwich Village tour. I think Chelsea Market is an easy place to go and navigate without scheduling an organized tour, but if I was going to recommend one to others, it would definitely be with Foods of NY.
Also, after the Greenwich tour, we felt like we had a "full meal" whereas, we did not feel that way after Chelsea Market. We understand that the food is only intended to be a sampling, but we enjoyed feeling like we had lunch during the Greenwich tour and had no desire to eat afterward. |

| The tour was very informative, interesting and fun. The foods we tasted were delicious. Our guide Darrell was exceptional and very efficient, too. The only complaint is that there was much too much food! And it was so good we couldn't say no.
We visited a couple of restaurants that were not open for business, and were so impressed that decided to have dinner later in one of them, Morimoto--thank you for that! We also stopped for a drink at another, Son Cubano. And as a New Yorker who had never been to Chelsea Market, I am placing it on my list of things to do again and again. The out -of-towners in our group were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tour.
Good job!!! |

| This is the second year we have done a cultural food tasting walking tour - last year we did the Greenwich Village area one - and we would definitely do it again. The tour guide was informed, funny and gracious. The tastings were fantastic and just having the background information as you go adds so much to the experience. Well done! |

| A friend mentioned this tour to me before I left Australia so I looked into it when I got to New york. As the day was a bit rainy it seemed an excellent way to spend the day. Our guide was professional and friendly and the tour was fabulous. All the providors we visited had lovely produce and the tastings were a great bonus.
I have already recommended the tour to another friend and would not hesitate to encourage others to take the tour.
A fantastic way to spend a day in New York |

| We were 7 friends who took the tour and enjoyed every part of it. We had Ed as our tour guide and he was very friendly and made sure everyone was in the group before he would talk which was nice. We had too much food but somehow managed to get it all down. It was great! I would recomend it to anyone going to NY city. It's a great way to explore parts of the city present and past. |

| It gave me an opportunity to look more in depth at what the neighborhood had to offer and how it looked. Usually I just walk through and enter only if I have information or the outside is alluring.
Sometimes I felt (and this could just be me) that it was a form of advertising for the places we stopped. The guide should make a disclaimer unless this is true.
The guide was interesting, nice, considerate and enthusiastic. The time constraint, however, was sometimes too evident. |
