| The tour started out with our tour guide, Ed, introducing himself and handing out bottled water and napkins. The food stops were quite good overall, although I personally would have liked to have seen a few more places in the market. The portions of food were good for snacking and overall sufficient enough that we didn't need to get lunch afterwards. However, there are two things that I would recommend changing: The first stop is at Eleni's for a tremendously large oatmeal cookie. I would rather have had a smaller cookie and add another stop at a different vendor for another tasting of something else. Perhaps set up something with the Fat Witch Brownie co next door? Also, I think that if were possible to even just go and see the lobby of the Food Network (as opposed to just looking at the elevator that takes you up there), that would have been uber cool. Yes, I realize that would be sort of a hard thing to arrange (and probably expensive, at that, but I can dream, right?) Touring both Mario Batali's Del Porto and Morimoto's NYC branch restaurant were highlights for us, especially seeing the stark contrast between the two atmospheres. We appreciated the dining tip at Del Porto - I don't want to steal their thunder, so you'll just have to take the tour to find out what it is, but trust me, it's worth it if you ever decide to dine there.
The tour of the meatpacking district, while historically interesting, was somewhat lacking in the tasting department. I would have liked to have had some kind of tasting set up at at least one of these places.
Overall, though, if you're a foodie, you'll enjoy this tour. Definitely bring comfortable shoes and a camera to commemorate the event. |

| My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much, so much so that we plan on taking the other food tours recommended - Greenwich Village and Soho food tours. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very personable. We met some very nice and interesting people on the tour. We sampled so much food on the tour that we weren't hungry for many hours afterwards. The best part is that we discovered an area of New York that we didn't know existed, and we visit New York on a regular basis! I recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys food as well as enjoys learning a little history about New York. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting tour of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District! Our guide, Ed, was a fellow "foodie" and kept us interested and entertained while he shared the history and inner workings of the market and the Meatpacking District. In addition to the variety of delicious and generous tastings, we felt like we really got to know the area. It was fun to peek inside some of the new trendy restaurants. We even went back later to shop and have dinner! Highly recommend! |

| My girlfriend and I took the Greenwich tour last year so wanted another tour this year. This was my favorite thing I did (includes seeing 2 B-way shows). This was the best money we spent, was so educational, and fun. Our guide was super!!! He kept us entertained and learned all our names within minutes. (KEEP HIM ON BOARD)! I can't find enough good words to say how much I enjoyed every minute. One reason I really liked this one is that it did not involve as much walking as the Village tour. I bought so much stuff from almost every place we went and we even ate dinner that night at Del Posta, all because of the tour. This is a fact that the places on tour should know. It is definitely a sale booster for them. I recommend this tour to locals, as well as visitors. Thank you so much and I will be looking forward to another of your tours next year

| This was a great tour for anyone who loves food and we learned a lot about the history of Chelsea market as we went. All the food that we had was delicious. We started and ended with dessert, but with all the walking we did in between you don't even feel guilty! We saw many of the wholesale food buisnesses in Chelsea market and got to sample a variety of foods at each. There wasn't much time for looking around or buying at most of the stores, but we were given a guide that had a listing of all the stores so that we could go back if there was something we were interested in. The tour is a bit pricey, but it's about what you'd pay if you took another tour (Empire State building, Rockefeller Center, NBC Studios, Statue of Liberty...) and paid for lunch. So bring some comfortable walking shoes, 'cause you're in for a treat! |

| Our tour was and a lot of fun and we're glad we did it. Chelsea Market is really unique and a definite must see. our tour guide, Kurt, was a great blend of informative and funny. He seemed to be able to remember everyone's name and really knew his facts about the area. This activity was recommended to us by some friend's who had done it a few years ago and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was a great way for me, as a New Yorker, to entertain my out of town guest and to learn something about that neighborhood at the same time.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Her delivery was humorous and the food was wonderful. At the end of the tour she also guided us to our next activity, which added to our appreciation. |
