Kids with us are 17 and 18. They also enjoyed the tour and the tastings. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. Obvious he has a lot of passion for NYC and this tour. This is our second food tour with ya'll. I think we will likely try to do a different one each time we visit. (last visit 2002) It's provides a nice balance to the totally touristy things you do in NYC. |

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour because our guide was so well informed and enthusiastic, which was contagious. The food samples were delicious and filling and it was soooo interesting learning the history of the market and surrounding outside area. We especially enjoyed the restaurants highlighted on the tour and in the evening went back to one of them. We will definitely take another tour offered. |

Due to your non-cancellation policy, we had to forfeit out money. We wish we could have gotten our money back, but we didn't cancel because of your policy. We were at a hospital, due to a family member's illness, in another town, and were unable to cancel. Had I been at home I would have done differently.
If we are able to reschedule a NYC visit, we would again like to make the food tour a part of the visit. |

We totally enjoyed our tour of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District with our enthusiastic guide, Curt. Curt was funny as well as knowledgeable -- but he "lied" to us at several stops within Chelsea Market, telling us to eat up we had in front of us, because we wouldn't be eating again for a while -- only to present us with a new tasting a few minutes later at the next establishment! We surely weren't going to go hungry. No tastings were done outside the Market, but the tour of the neighborhood and nearby hotels were nice (and the strolling was a good way to work off the food). The "crazy lady" outside of the biker bar presented Curt with a professional challenge, but he led the group away from her without incident. All in all, a fun and tasty 3-hour tour. |

Kirt was fabulously entertaining and well versed with details of the tour and special insights to particular interests. His quick wit and attention to detail made him an instant 'hit' with myself and my girlfriend! I highly recommend him for an Emmy or at least a raise!

Lots of fun, learned a lot, and ate a lot. Not so much to see in the meatpacking district yet and no food stops there. |
