| I know it's hard oudoors...the guide almost needs a microphone due to the traffic - but...I think an earlier start (i.e. 10:30) starting with approximately 1 hour outdoors ending up at the Chelsa Market would have worked better.
Bythe time we got outside it was hot and people seemed tired. |

| I lived in New York years ago when the Nabisco building was abandoned. Coming back for a visit, I was amazed at the transformation of the Chelsea Market. The bakeries, wine vault, seafood market and vegetable markets were some of the businesses that lined the hallways of the old Nabisco building. I strongly suggest that if you once lived in NY and are returning for a visit you must take this tour. It is amazing how the entire area has changed. It was wonderful. |

| We took the Greenwich Village tour last July and had a fantastic time with a fabulous tour guide, Cindy. So you can imagine how thrilled we were when our tour guide arrived and who should it be but Cindy! We knew we were in for a great time and we were not disappointed. You can keep the museums, monuments, etc and give us these terrific food and culture tours! I would like to add that I agree with one of the other reviewers (donnalley) that it might be nice to start at 10:30 outside and move inside later especially in high summer. I realize that this may not be possible since the crowds are probably larger later. However, if at all possible I think it would be nice to reverse the order. |

| Our group ranged in age from 11 to 50 & we all enjoyed the tour. We liked every one of our stops (food vendors and restaurants) and food. The tea store was our least favorite stop. We would've like to spend a little more time in the meatpacking district, but maybe we saw all that there was to see.
It was a unique part of NY that we wouldn't have otherwise visited or learned about. Our tour guide (Ed) was easy to hear and knowledgeable. |

| Fun tour...the only thing that might enhance it is if the guide could provide more substance, i.e. factoids on history, architecture, local culture, etc.) to fill the "quiet" time while we are eating. There were periods on the tour where the group was just sitting around eating without the input/commentary of the guide. |

| I had previously gone on a Greenwich Village tour the year before and loved it so much that I looked forward to the Chelsea area tour and was not disappointed. The tour guide (Curt) was phenonmenal and the food tastings were plentiful and very tasty. We enjoyed the area so much that we returned the following evening to dine at a local restaurant we had passed by on tour and also to buy some goodies from some of the shops in the Chelsea meat packing plant. Would definitely go on this tour again! |
