| Our family group loved our tour of the Chelsea Market and Meatpacking area. It was historically interesting and delicously entertaining. Thanks to Darrell for an afternoon of juicy gossip and fabulous fun.

| Myself, husband and daughter (student at NYU) all really enjoyed the tour. Darrell did a great job, kept all engaged, and kept us moving at a good pace. He had lots of anecdotes that made the experience extra fun.
I recommend that you don't start the groups off with those big cookies, they make you too full for all the great snacks ahead.

| The tour guide Kurt was very knowlegeable about the area . He was able to infuse humor keeping our attention, and impressed us with his ability to remember all 15 names of the people on the tour. In addition his enthusiasm for the area, and his love for cooking added a special personal touch. The food was excellent, and the vendors were very receptive and friendly. The only thing that would have made this more spectacular is if the restaurants would have also offered a food sampler. Definitely recommended. |

| Darrel was a great tour guide. Plenty of good eats. Recommend doing it early in your trip so that you can return to some of the places to eat again. Great tour for a bad weather day. One person in our group has breathing problems with exertion , and was able to do this walking tour with out difficulty. Would have loved to have had enough time to do the other tours as well. |

The 'tour' was really just the Chelea Market...

Couple on a Date |
| While we enjoyed our guides friendly comments and historical anecdotes, the content of the tour was rather superficial and only really showed what was in Chelea Market--something that seemed almost like an advertisement for the stores or a way to get out-of-towners to spend a bit there. This was not really a tour of Chelsea and the Meat Packing District's culinary offerings. If you want a small bit of history and some nice snacks, this three hour tour is o.k., otherwise, you'll do better with a Zagat and a few hours walking or a proper historical tour. |
