We had been on the Greenich Walking tour TWICE before and enjoyed it both times This was our first at Chelsea and it was just as good.I personally think it's the best kept secret tour in New York.We are looking forward to your third food tour on our next trip to NY. Daryl was a great guide!!!!!

For someone who just likes a taste of everything, this is a great tour. I really enjoyed all the different foods we got to sample. Our tour guide was very pleasant and informative. Our kids (ages 10,12,14) weren't too interested in the historical perspective but there were enough diversions to keep them occupied.

We had a great time. The guide, Bob, was enthusiastic and quite knowledgeable. The samplings were great. This was our first NY Food tour with your company. I would definately take another tour.

We had so much fun on the Chelsea Market tour! A ton of information about the area and the Market itself, and tasting at wonderful stores. Our guide, Bob, was low key and truly informative- I had no idea the Market could be so much fun, and after the tour we all went back and shopped for home. I have also taken the Greenwich Village tour, and now cannot wait to take the Soho tour. Truly a great day out for any foodie.

What a great way to spend an afternoon!! Our guide Daryl was wonderful and he really made the tour fun.. The food samples were more than ample for lunch so do not eat before you do the tour. The meatpacking tour was very interesting and informative. What a fun afternoon!!! I would highly recommend this tour.

This was a great experience - just the right amount of time and filled with great food and interesting information. I had never visited the Chelsea/Meatpacking District before and I learned so much. Chelsea Market was a lot of fun. It was filled with interesting shops. The food was wonderful! Plenty to eat - do not eat lunch before you go! Being alone for this was easy. Everyone was very friendly. The tour guide, Darrell, was fantastic - very funny and open. He went at a great, easy pace and kept us informed the whole way. I am looking forward to taking another tour next time I'm in town and will recommend this experience to everyone.

When I first arrived at Chelsea Market, I was not impressed. I was not looking forward to a tour of this huge, dark building. Then, Bob, our tour guide, came along and all of that changed. He brought the building to life - and to light - when he began talking about the history of the building and the history of each place we toured. My mom, sister, and I enjoyed the very generous samples that were given each stop on the way. We also enjoyed the tour of the Meatpacking District which led us to a wonderful dinner at Del Posto the following evening. I grew up around food - as did my mom and sister - so this was a wonderful way to experience some of the many flavors of New York! I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting New York.

Very informative about history and merchandise available at the market. Our guide, Bob was EXCELLENT - he had many details to provide about the place, welcomed questions, and made our tasting activities entertaining. We wanted to go back and get some of the things we tried to take home. We plan to make Chelsea Market a place to go each time that we come to NYC because of this tour. We also plan to try your other tours when we return to NYC.

| I've taken the Greenwich Village tour from the same company twice before and that one is perhaps a fraction more enjoyable, particularly the "eating" element of the tour.
However once outside Chelsea Market, I actually found the historical details of the Meatpacking district and the story of how it has recently developed to be fascinating and well told. Bob, our guide, seemed to have a good grasp on the facts and presented the information in an entertaining fashion.
A couple of the tastings were unremarkable (the milk place springs to mind) and I would have been happy to miss that out and spend longer looking around establishments in the Meatpacking district. |
