| We thoroughly enjoyed the Meatpacking District Tour. The tour guide was both knowledgeable and funny and the food was delicious! We learned a lot and we can't wait to return to NYC so we can take the Greenwich Village Tour. Thanks! |

| For weeks, my family and I were trying to figure out what to get my father for his birthday present. I have taken tours before and remembered hearing something about a guided tour which takes place in NYC's Meatpacking District. Overjoyed at our discovery my family and I had decided to make this a b-day present a memorable journey into my father's past. Being a butcher his whole life, it was interesting to see my fathers’ facial expressions as we toured this historical section of NYC. Personally, the tour is historical from a geographical point-of-view and historical from a personal point-of-view too. Our tour guide was not only filled with an exuberant amount of knowledge, but carried our group through with an abundant amount of energy and sense-of- humor. From the historical meatpacking days, to the colorful nights of Transvestite Prostitutes howling at the passing by taxi cabs trying to make a quick buck or two, to the eclectic nightlife which is emerging from the tattered depths blood, toil, and disease - figuratively baptizing the air known much throughout the local neighborhood.
Besides the historical elements tackled in the tour, there is one thing more which made this tour a MUST DO...the Food!!! Oh was it a delectable treat on our curious palates. Granted we were not eating to gorge ourselves, but instead we sampled treats and goodies from various merchants which satisfied our peaked taste buds. We sampled soups and cookies, fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses of all sorts. And we cannot forget the delightful gelato on mini cones (and when I say mini, I mean mini...they were actually cute).
All in all our experience with the Meatpacking District guided tour was one worth the writing about, and well worth the experience. I, as well as my family am looking forward to sharing our day with yet another guided tour through Zerve, and hope that you will too. Grazie!!!

| I hate tours, but love food and was planning on going to the market anyway. Since the price was right, I booked it and am so very glad I did! It was a wonderful blend of food and history. Curt was phenomenal. Enthusiastic and passionate, he really made the tour. My friend who had also booked could not make it (flight delays), so he gave me some extra treats to take home for her. Way above and beyond what was required. I even made a reservation at a great restaurant based on Curt's recommendation and my friend was so impressed since she'd been trying to get in there forever! I followed all of Curt's recommendations on the courses and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. He did not steer us wrong! I'm looking forward to taking other tours by the same operator and taking all my friends on this one. I feel like I could take this tour more than once and learn something new each and every time. |

| This is the 2nd tour I've taken from the Foods of NY Group. It was excellent and Kirk our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Since we visit NYC annually I will look forward to the SoHo tour next year and hope you'll add new tours in the years to come because I really feel that this is the most delicious way to learn more about the wonderful city of New York.
Thanks for a wonderful experience! |

| This tour was amazing!! Our tour guide Kurt was so enthusiastic and entertaining, he really made the tour so much fun.The Chelsea Market and other places we went to were wonderful, and the food was unbelievable! We were exposed to places that we probably never would have found on our own. We actually ended up going to one of the places for dinner the next night, and it was the best dinner we have ever had! When we come back to NY next year we are going to the Greenwich Village tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone going to NY. |

| Eleven ladies and gentlemen, many of us very old friends who have travelled extensively together , met on a rather overcast and chilly winter day to visit the Chelsea Market. One couple had previously been on the tour, but agreed to do it again. Three of us are New Yorkers who simply love to learn as much as we can about the city of our birth. The rest Jerseyites who, although not always willing to admit it, love New York almost as much. To say we were pleased is just not enough. Each little tasting was excellent and soon we were saying we could not eat another crumb. Still there was more to eat and to learn and we just kept going. Now about Kurt, our tour guide. He was fun and funny, kept us totally amused and engaged. He made sure we were always comfortable and genuinely seemed interested in our reaction to the food, the building and all the wonderful little pieces of trivia about the Market in general. He was completely familiar with the area and answered all questions. In short, the Chelsea Market and Kurt turned our gray day into a great one. Thanks. Diane Ketchell
P.S. Most of us have taken the Village tour as well. We will be happy to recommend these tours. |
