| Our guide Sam was great - funny and knowledgeable - and the entire group has a great time. Sam did well to remember all of our names. Word of warning - Don't eat beforehand. I've recommended the tour to friends who live close. You don't need to love cooking to find the tour interesting. |

| I recently went on the Chelsea Market tour as part of a culinary arts tour of New York City. I was travelling with students from my Home Economics class in Vancouver Canada. We really enjoyed the tour and the tastings were awesome. Definitely enough food for lunch and then some! The guide was very knowledgable and showed us a lot. I would highly recommend this tour. | Our tour guide, Curt was part historian, part foodie extrodinaire, part stand up comedian. He had us laughing while we learned a lot about the history of the area and the food we were enjoying ... the afternoon flew by. It was a delightful way to spend an afternoon with friends exploring a part of Manhattan we had not before. |

| Tour guides are informative, fun, engaging and interactive.
The establishments were accomodating, appreciative and had wonderful samples.
The 3 hours flew by! The groups were small enough to be able to hear the guide and move from place to place methodically.
Really enjoyed it, would take another tour in the future. |

| I really liked the tour. eating, drinking and also the explanation of the chelsea market and meatpkng district. (like the high line, understanding between the meatpackers and prostitudes.... where was larry!!)
the only thing I would change is the place to eat the dessert. Outside is not the place to eat dessert. (that's why it's 4 stars instead of 5)
See you on the village tour! |

| An absolute treat!!! We really enjoyed our tour on Saturday, August 11 @ 12 noon. Our tour guide Bob is well educated on the history of the Chelsea Market and Meatpacking DIstrict. It would have been nice to meet a few of the owners of the various establishments we toured and/or meet someone at the management status. That would have been a nice added touch. I personally would have liked to have spent a little more time in a few key stops., i.e. Buon Italia. Overall we give the tour two thumbs up!!! We are making plans for our next trip to include one of the other culinary walking tours. THANK YOU!!! |

| This was our second Foods of NY tour--the first being the Greenwich Village tour in May. Sampson was our guide, and he was a joy to spend the afternoon with. The Chelsea Market is a true gem as is the entire ever-evolving Meatpacking District. We learned so much about the building, the vendors inside the market, and the whole area. The food tastings were wonderful and substantial. We even ventured to an area restaurant for an early dinner upon the recommendation of Sampson. We were VERY pleased. We will definitely include another tour in our next NYC visit. |
