Our guide, Kurt, met us right on time at the Chelsea Market--he made a real effort to remember and use all of our first names--and was amazingly successful. He really knew the area and told us many interesting things about it. He was very knowledgeable about all the establishments we visited (and there were quite a few), and made sure we all were enjoying ourselves, learning about the Market and meat packing district, and along the way eating lots of delicious food. When we met, it was raining and he said how lucky we were to have chosen this tour as the Market part was all inside--but he promised that by the time we came to the meat packing part, during which we walked outside, the sun would be shining and it would be a beautiful day--and he was right! We also visited several restaurants in the area which was great because we plan to visit Chelsea when next we're in NYC and now we know some good places to eat. Altogether a delightful day. We can't recommend the tour highly enough.

If you are a foodie, this tour is for you! The guide was knowledgeable about the area, the vendors, the architecture and the food. It was a fun way to see a part of the city and to enjoy great food. I had no idea we would be trying so much food, there is a lot to eat. I will recommend this tour to friends and family and I plan on taking the tour again sometime. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Diana was outstanding. We had a great time and she kept the group moving well. This is the second super tour we've gone on, the first was with Cindy. We're looking forward to more.

Our tour guide Curt was fun and very energetic. He knew alot about the marketplace itself and his passion for the subject was clearly evident. I highly reccomend both the tour and Curt as a tour guide.

The history was great. Cindy was great. The food was not as interesting/varied as your Greenwich Village tour, and because it was all in the Market itself, several from my group were very familiar with the shops. They would have preferred more outside the area. My non -meat person, said the last stop--where she got penne with tomato sauce was disappointing. perhaps using vegies, or fish instead of oxtail. Also too much cookie/scone/bread. There were no vegies or fruits at all. Starting off with cookies was not great!

The Chelsea Market and Meat Packing District Tour was fantastic! My sister-in-law and I are from NJ and love spending time in NYC, so we are always looking for things to do over there. I came across the food tasting tours while "surfing the net". This tour is well worth the time and money spent. We just loved the market and the changes made to the surrounding area. There were enough tastings included in the tour that you could surely bypass lunch and go for a wonderful dinner in one of the many area restaurants. Our tour guide, Todd, was just great and so informative. He always kept the interest level high throughout the entire 3 hour tour. Great job! I have recommended this tour to all friends and family. When thinking of a great gift, this tour goes right to the top of my list. I will definitely try out the other tours offered.

Great tour...90% of why it was great can be attributed to Diana, the tour guide. She should teach other guides how it's done!
