Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

Darryl provided a great combination of history, humor, and delicious food sampling. The weather perfect and the tour moved along at an appropriate pace. Participants were from around the world, and across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a wonderful mix.

First half was in chelsea market and last half was various sites in meatpacking district. Ended tour with walking on the HighLine. Tour guide enthusiastic. Would recommend highly.

This was a ver enjoyable day trip we took with friends. We got to enjoy some of the tasty delights along with the history of the building and surrounding area. Our tour guide Daryl had such a wealth of knowledge that kept our attention wanting for more fun details.

Enjoyed this tour but liked the Greenwich village tour better. The guide makes all the difference and while ours was good, she was not great. Would definitely still do another tour with this company.

we really enjoyed the depth of historical facts ,the food tasting was good, but we did need lunch afterwards,the only thig that was a little suspect was that on our last tasting tha guide told us the wine [glass] was $10 ,on the menue it was $5? ,it was a beautifull day would have enjoyed just as much with umbrella.

Was a very good experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and the food terrific.

The tour worthed every penny paid, lot of tastings and amazing guide whom we learned a lot from about the history of this place and how it evolves. U must take it at the beginning of ur trip to nyc because u will definitly want to visit those places again.

We had Darryl as our guide for this tour.It was very informative,and we saw quite a bit in the time we had.Some excellent (and extremely tempting) tastes of many different foods of the area.All were explained well by Daryl,and he had just the right amount of humour to make the tour informative,but fun.Another highlight was getting to see the old elevated railway through the meatpacking district (something you probably don't think to see when thinking of places to see in NY.I would fully recommend this tour to anyone thinking of doing this sort of tour in this area.The only problem was,it had to end.The time went so quick,and yet you get to see so much.
