Great Food, Lots of fun and plenty of laughs

We joined this tour - my family (wife, 2 girls 12 and 14) and two friends (2 old guys my age) with the idea that we would learn a bit about Chelsea area and enjoy some food rain or shine. Well we did - and plenty more. The history, the assortment of foods to everyone's taste, the great tour guide who kept all of us interested - he remebered everyone's name, and sprinkled with fashion and city character that really was unique to this area of NYC. We ALL enjoyed the experience - this was really an inexpensive and enjoyable event. Well worth the while. After the tour, we went back to explore some more and we knew exactly what we wanted to do! Thanks and Cheers. FrankP

We were served a great mix (cookie, soup, tapas, chocolate, bisquit, icecream, pasta) of great foodand an interesting history lesson from an enthusiastic guide. First tasting was a large cookie, would have saved it for last if we had the chance. We were happily surprised to get a walk on the highline, a place we had asked around for but nobody seemed to know where it was.

A delightful introduction to a NY neighbourhood

As visitors from Australia we thoroughly enjoyed the food tour of Chelsea Market and surrounds. Kurt was a great guide who made every effort to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone in the group. We wish we had done the tour a little earlier in our stay in New York for the tips on where to eat.

Kurt, our guide was fantastic. His knowledge of the tour stops was quite impressive, even to food and wine snobs like ourselves. The 3-hour excursion could have become tiresome and dull, given the amount of info and ground to cover, but Kurt's enthusiasm for NY's food scene and his comedic banter were irresistible. He kept us excited and entertained the whole time. Highly recommend! So glad we did this tour.

The food is ample and wonderful! Our guide was so knowledgeable about food, I felt completely at ease in his care. A wonderful memory that I would repeat in a second, and intend to.

I could have done this walk alone, not very inform

The chelsea market is nice and interesting, but the guide did not give us a lot of information. The food was good, but I could have bought it on my own. I fond the tour bowring, I did not learn much. The main part was on the market itselve, I would have prefered a longer walk througt the meetpacking district and more history. The guide talked more about himself, that he loves his job, what he has eaten, which cook he met, who cares???

The experience my friends and I had during the Chelsea/Meatpacking food tour went above and beyond our expectations. Not only were we captivated by the delicious food we sampled but were surprised by the journey through the history of the Chelsea Marketplace and the Meatpacking District. I would highly recommend this tour for couples, friends, and families interested in learning about the rich history of this NYC neighborhood.

We were in NYC for the weekend with a group of 6 friends. The tour was absolutely wonderful. Plenty of awesome food with interesting historical facts from our fabulous guide Bob. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the meat packing district, enjoys a little history and of course loves food.
