Enjoyed the tour, the information provided was great. Our tour was heavier on gossip and lighter on in-depth detail of neighborhood, building, restaurant business, etc. Still, very enjoyable overall. |

The tour guide was very cordial and knowledgeable and even addressed all 14 of us by name. The food and information provided by the tour guide made for an extraordinary use of the 3 hours devoted to this event. |

My grown daughter and I enjoyed this tour a lot. The guide, Kurt, was amazing with his anecodotes and his enthusiasm. The sites that we visited were interesting. I learned about the district and tried some amazing food.
The group size was good and the tour was good value for the money. We didn't need lunch after the tour. |

From red velvet cupcake to pasta with oxtail marinara sauce, the Chelsea Market/Meat Packing Tour was a delightful experience. Our host, Bob, was enthusiastic, charming and most knowledgeable about the history of the market, the area and the High Line. We feel like we have a connection with the neighborhood and a working knowledge of the shops, people and activities in this exciting part of New York. We will definitely will come back to eat and buy in the area and will look forward to taking other food tours. This was a highlight of our trip from Texas. |

My 27 and 30-year old daughters and I recently enjoyed the Chelsea Market Food Tour. Our host, Darryl, was exceptional at knowing the food and the area. We tasted cheese, a fabulous lobster bisque, pasta ragout, fresh chocolate milk, a light fluffy red velvet cupcake and more! It was lively, fun, and educational..best 3 hours in New York. I hope you get Darryl as he was great! In addition, it is situated close to the subway station, very easy to find! |

We had a great time on the tour. Our guide was on time and on spot with her history and delivery. We also got lots of ideas of where we wanted to return on our own. The tastings were plentiful and interesting; no need for lunch after this tour! |

Cannot say enough good about Bob, our guide. charming, witty, tremendously knowledgeable. Would follow him anywhere....LOL. Tour was interesting and I surely will return to Chelsea Marketplace. I had
Curt as a guide some years ago.....where he is hysterically funny and fun.....Bob is just all around, a wonderful tour guide. My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed him.

I 100% recommend this tour (and food tours in general)! After having done a food tour of Seattle's Pike Place Market on my honeymoon (another must do!), my mom and I were planning a trip together to NYC and I figured there had to be a great food tour in the city. Sure enough, I stumbled upon this one and immediately knew we should do it. I love food, and this is a great way to sample tasty, local food that you maybe/probably wouldn't have sampled on your own. Also, what I love about food tours, is you get a great amount of history (things you wouldn't learn on your own) by an enthusiastic guide who really knows their stuff! A definite must do on any trip, and especially of Chelsea Market! |

We had done the Greenwich Village tour and this was just as great. Not a lot of walking since most of the time is inside the market. Food samples were wonderful, more than enough for lunch. (An adult beverage at the wine store might have been a nice touch) |

We were looking for something different for this trip to NYC & we found it with this tour! We had a very knowledgeable & enthusiastic guide who gave us lots of great information about the area & its history. The food samples from the various establishments we visited were just perfect. I'd recommend this to anyone - though I'm not sure kids younger than teens would really appreciate it. |
