The tour was not only ample in food and variety - but a "view" on the origin, evolution of not only the food but the district was fantastic. I would most certainly recommend this tour - Curtis was fantastic and our group was great in energy. I don't see how you could not have a great time.

My friend and I had the BEST time with our guide. He was super knowledeable and funny! The food was excellent and it was a great way to see a part of NYC we may have not otherwise have chosen to visit. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

This was a fabulous tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I went with my mom, 2 aunts and a cousin. We all enjoyed it so much. We all thought that the tour was very informative and we loved our tour guide. I wish I could remember his name because he really made the tour special and fun. I also want to say thank you to the tour guide because he made sure that my one aunt had something to eat at every place we stopped for food (she has a gluten intolerance). We all enjoyed ourselves so much, that when we come back next year, we will go on one of the other tours offered.

This tour was a great way to see the Chelsea/ Meatpacking District neighborhoods! Curt was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area. The food was plentiful and wonderful - I just wish I had skipped breakfast that morning! We really enjoyed the variety: tea, gelato, chocolate milk, lobster bisque, cookies, stuffed olives, and pasta. It was great to go inside Mario Batali's and Morimoto's restaurants (even though they weren't open) and to find out that they weren't too expensive. We will definitely go back to some of the places (especially Macelleria) on our next trip to New York!

Wow, I was completely surprised about how much fun I had during the tour. Darryl, our guide was engaging, informative, and down right funny. At no point did the tour seem like it dragged. It was a great day spent walking around the Market and Neighborhood. Our group was the first to do a tasting at Marcelleria, and it was amazing. Great food choices, fun information, and just a nice all around day. Oh, and by the way, I'm a New Yorker that spends lots of time in that area at night, so it was wonderful to see it in the daylight.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, patient and funny, he made the 3 hours fly by. The food was a very interesting selection and I was definitely satisfied. It's great to see a part of NYC in a very original way. I'll recommend it to locals and international friends who come here to visit.

I bought tickets for my family for my mother's birthday. I think this might be the best present I ever gave her. We had such a great time. The food was amazing, and there was a good variety of food. We did not want the tour to end. There is some much to learn about the area, so much history and so much change. Since this is such a unque part of the city, that made the tour even better. Our tour guide was Cindy and she was a hoot. I look forward to taking another tour with her.

We were more than a little disappointed in this tour. Earlier in the week we went on the Original Greenwich Village tour and loved it. This tour was like being taken through a mall. Very small samples (left hungry) and the gelatto sample was being given away free to anyone who stopped into the store - not sure where the $44 per person went as the total food sampled probably cost about $5-7 per person. Would have loved it if there was even 1 restaurant tasting as that might have enticed us to want to come back to the area another time. The other tour booklet had coupons for the local businesses which might have encouraged us to return to the market and purchase items, this one did not. Felt the guide did her job, but the tour itself was not well thought out. 2 hours walking through the market, with the final hour (actually less than that as our tour took under the 3 hours we were told it would) was outside pointing out a points of interest. We were allowed to stop into Morimoto's restaurant, and the "highlight" was that we should go check out the bathrooms. Not sure that's what he would like us to take away from his restaurant. The average person could walk the market, pick up a brochure and learn the same information and poke around the shops at your own pace. Also, as for the local restaurants anyone off the street could step inside and ask to see a menu and see the same things we did today. Overall, we would not recommend this particular tour.
