| i can't think of a better way to go through chelsea market and the neighboring meatpacking district. our guide kurt was witty and energetic and all his recommendations were great. the food was delicious and plentiful and although we'd been through chelsea market on our own numerous times before, the tour introduced us to so much more. i highly recommend this for anyone, but for me, it was a perfect date activity. |

| My sister and I had a terrific time. The food we tasted was absolutely delicious. I I think that what really made the day was our tour guide Kurt . He made a great time fantastic ! He was very knowledgeble about the area and provided lots of information without sounding scripted. He had lots of enthusiasm and energy and was an absolute riot. You could tell that everyone was having a good time.
I have already told at least 10 friends that this tour was a winner. My sister and I are looking forward to doing both the Greenwich Village Food Tasting tours this summer. It's a great way to get both, a more intimate portrait of the different neighborhoods in the city, and to try out lots of good eats. :D

| fantastic tour especially b/c it was freezing and the majority of it was inside Chelsea Market. I was stuffed an hour into the tour. The guide was funny and personable and added a lot to the experience. We are from Long Island...any time a friend visits me I will definitely take these tours again and again!!! |

| I can't recommend this tour stongly enough. It was fantastic to see a part of New York that was away from the main 'tourist traps' and still learn something of the history of the city.
Our guide had an enthusiasm for the city which was infectious. By the end, I was jealous that I didn't live in New York as I wanted to be able to come back again and again to the Chelsea Market.
Next time I'm in New York I will definitely be booking to do another tour with Foods of New York. |

| I took the Chelsea Market tour with my daughter-in-law and we both really enjoyed it. The food sampling was great and filling. No need for lunch although we did return to the market for some take home items of the food we sampled. Curt (with a C), our guide, was knowledgeable as well as entertaining! We learned some fun and fascinating history of the area on our walking portion of the tour as well as some great ideas for dining. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting NYC. I am coming back in the summer and will defiantly do another food tour....a great way to get a "taste" of the city! |

| I took this tour with my boyfriend and my parents. We really enjoyed it. The only critique would be that it could have been a tiny bit shorter. Great tastings, great information, and a great guide! |

| After taking the Greenwich Village Food Tour last year we weren't sure we could top it, however, the Chelsea Mkt. Tour this year was just as fabulous! We had an amazing
three hours of touring, food tasting, sightseeing, history lessons, etc. and we loved it.
Kurt, our guide, was delightful!! We would recommend the NYC Food Tours to
everyone -- can't wait to try the future SoHo tour on our next visit!! |

Kurt our guide is great - friendly, enthusiastic, patience, informative (also historically attuned), passion for foods and cooking
A fantastic introduction to the Meatpacking district - the focal point being the Chelsea Market. A peep into some of the surrounding post restaurants is a brilliant part of the programme. We even sneaked into the Hog & Heifer bar! :-)
I ate my way to the end of the tour - a bit here and a bit there .... yummmmmm. chowders, mortadella, olives, pesto, cookies, coffee diary milk ... and those divine cupcakes!

| I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. As a visitor to NYC, we would have never discovered the Chelsea market on our own! The tour kept us interested for the entire 3 hours and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour as well as the Greenwich Village tour to anyone visiting the city or new to the area.
