| Our Tour Guide, Daryl was fun and informative.
While I enjoyed the inside tour of the Market ,I prefered the outside portion of the tour and would recommend that this part be extended.
The Salt Tasting was gimicky and I would substitute it with something else.
We prefered the Greenich Village tour to this one but we had a great time nontheless! |

| Absolutely fantastic. Kurt - our tour guide - really made the tour. There were some great tastings, a good variety and lots of interesting information about the food and the market. |

| I read quite a few reviews before booking this tour and to be totally honest
I have to agree with the one that said that you could have done it on your own.
Aside from the few tastings that we had. That by the way, were not enough for lunch.
It was an ok tour. My husband and I got there an hour and a half early and walked
around on our own. It turns out everywhere we went on our own was part of the tour.
I was bored from the start. Don't be fooled by the location (Chelsea Market). It has
absolutely nothing to do with the food network. I did however enjoy our tour guide.
I can't remember his name. He was the red head. He was actually the best part of the tour. All in all, I guess the price was reasonable. Had I paid any more than $40.00 I would have felt ripped off. |

| If you would like to have a very informative as well as gourmet delight afternoon - take this tour. Our guide was fun, kept the tour moving at a reasonable pace, and made each business we toured very personal with details that indicated someone did some great research. You will walk away wanting to participate in more tours and NYC seemed a little more managable for the novice tourist. We will come back and enjoy other offerings! |

| We arrived as the last part of our Zerve tour group and were welcomed by our tour guide. The food tastings were great; our guide was knowledgable about the food, the restaurants, and the history of Chelsea Market and the meat-packing district. He knew so many details, it was like a mini-history class but interesting. It was very enjoyable and has induced me to return and try out various spots in the area. |

| My husband and I enjoyed the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Food Tasting Tour very much. The food was outstanding and the tour guides shared information of both areas that was very educational and interesting. We went back to Amy's Bakery for lunch the next day and also stopped in at the Ronnybrook Dairy for yogurt. We are repeat food tour customers since we also went on the Greenwich Village food tasting tour last spring which was also excellent. After that tour, that evening we enjoyed dinner at Chumley's (and actually found it on our own). And after our lunch in Chelsea Market this time, we took the train back to Greenwich Village to purchase coffee beans at Porto Rico. Your selection of food "stops" at both tours is excellent. |

| How lucky to take the Chelsea Market tour on a day when the weather was miserably cold and windy. Since the greater part of the tour was indoors, we could enjoy the experience without being uncomfortable. Curt was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, and amusing. |

| Last time in NYC, we did the Greenwich Tour and absolutely loved it. So, this time we opted for the Chelsea Tour, and it did not disappoint. The food samples could easily have been smaller; we both got very full!
Our guide, Curt, was fabulous and made it fun, interesting, and informative. He was very knowledgable and offered juicy tidbits of NYC living.
This is not just a food tour. I mean, you get to sample fun foods and learn about restaurants and food vendors, but it's also great to learn about the NYC neighborhoods and their history, something you really can't get from history books.
I would highly recommend anyone to join in one of these tours as early on in their NYC visit as possible. This way you learn about places to go to dinner for the rest of your stay!
Only regret is that the Soho tour wasn't running this time around, but we'll do it next time! |

| My husband and I just got back from NY and did the Chelsea Market Food Tour. It was excellent and more than we expected. The guide - Darrell - was wonderful and the amount of food was more than we could eat. We are anxiously awaiting our next trip so we can do the Greenwich Village tour. This is a definate TO DO tour. Also, this tour is mostly inside so don't let questionable weather effect your decision to do this activity. |
