| How lucky to take the Chelsea Market tour on a day when the weather was miserably cold and windy. Since the greater part of the tour was indoors, we could enjoy the experience without being uncomfortable. Curt was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, and amusing. |

Best history lesson in NYC . . . and you get food!

| Last time in NYC, we did the Greenwich Tour and absolutely loved it. So, this time we opted for the Chelsea Tour, and it did not disappoint. The food samples could easily have been smaller; we both got very full!
Our guide, Curt, was fabulous and made it fun, interesting, and informative. He was very knowledgable and offered juicy tidbits of NYC living.
This is not just a food tour. I mean, you get to sample fun foods and learn about restaurants and food vendors, but it's also great to learn about the NYC neighborhoods and their history, something you really can't get from history books.
I would highly recommend anyone to join in one of these tours as early on in their NYC visit as possible. This way you learn about places to go to dinner for the rest of your stay!
Only regret is that the Soho tour wasn't running this time around, but we'll do it next time! |

| My husband and I just got back from NY and did the Chelsea Market Food Tour. It was excellent and more than we expected. The guide - Darrell - was wonderful and the amount of food was more than we could eat. We are anxiously awaiting our next trip so we can do the Greenwich Village tour. This is a definate TO DO tour. Also, this tour is mostly inside so don't let questionable weather effect your decision to do this activity. |

| My family thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Your choices of products was on target. Salt is a little sketchy, but Curt made it very entertaining. |

Couple on a Date |
| We were fortunate to have only one other couple besides ourselves on this tour, which was perfect! After seeing a tour of 15 people herding thru, I have no idea how they didn't constantly feel "in the way" of the rest of the public, since the spaces/stores we dropped in on are all so compact. Not to mention, some of the tastings we did were in the very back of the store, sometimes, not enough chairs for the four of us!
The tour thru the market was informative, the tastings were fun, some better than others. The market tour part took about an hour. The remainder 2 hours were walking outside the streets of the meat packing district. Luckily it was nice out. I would imagine on rainy days, this 2/3 of the tour would be miserable. I feel this part of the tour could have been cut down to 30 minutes. We spent the last hour going into random restauraunts and shops just looking around...which I could do on my own. Luckily, we were in a small group and we were enjoying our guide, so we had a good time.
A recommendartion I would have is to cut the tour to 2 hours and cut the price by$15. |

| Lots of fun and a great way to learn about Chelsea Market and the neighborhood. The food tastings were so filling - we didnt eat lunch and had only a small dinner. |

| Even NYC residents enjoy this 3 hour feasting and walking tour! My friend and I met two NYC residents who had taken both the Greenwich Village and the Meatpacking tour with Eric and thoroughly enjoyed each tour.
This adventure is the perfect combination of feasting on varied taste treats from the Chelsea Market to "inside trivia and tips" about the building, the tenants, the family-owned companies, the restaurants, the past, present and future of the Meatpacking district, a local B n B and more.
Your best advertisement is word-of-mouth; I learned about the tour from a colleague and I will be sharing the information gleaned with my colleagues...............
Great tour, guide and concept!
Thank you.

Group of Friends |
| We are a group of women seeing New York. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of meeting and visiting with someone who lives in New York. The tour of Chelsea Market was great. We were a little disappointed that the tour did not include more neighborhood stops, but all in all it was a very enjoyable experience. |

| Cindy, our leader was very informed, kept the group on schedule, and was very good with the various age groups. The tour had a lot of diversity and included food and history of the area. I would highly recommend. |
