| ive lived in new york for four years and have never done anything like this. i had a friend visiting this past weekend and i remembered some friends recommending these walking food tours...so we gave it a try and it was totally worth it! we definitely got our moneys worth as we ate our way through chelsea. the whole experience was definitely made by our tour guide who was excellent - enthusiastic, knowledgable and just all around wonderful |

| -Recommend for locals and tourists alike (I'm a recent resident to NYC)
-This tour is good for inclement weather (temperature or rain) as the first couple of hours are inside the Chelsea Market. It would also be good for those interested in a tour but not wishing to walk long distances (ie I was thinking of my mum visiting soon and not wanting to have her walk a lot)
- The tour is a great blend of history, food and fun and is well managed and organized
- Plan to set aside some money post tour as you will want to pick up something from every spot
- In summary worth every dollar spent! |

| Not only would I recommend this but I would do it again. Initially I was bummed that the Greenwich Village Food Tour was sold out but what a stroke of luck. My husband and I discovered the trendy meat packing district - a food lover's paradise. Our guide was the best. He knew the area, history, people and food. Enjoy! |

| This tour was the highlight of our two day visit to NYC. We got a ton of great food and visited most of the sites in the Market, Meatpacking District and Greenwich Village. However the true gem of the tour is the guide Kurt. Not only did he pass long a wealth of great information about the sites we were visiting, but he is an extremely knowledgeable foodie and was able to provide color that went above and beyond the typical tour fare. Just make sure you ask him about Martha Stewart! |
