| Our guide, Kurt, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was fun and there was plenty of food.
The only thing that I would do differrently is to start the tour in the meat packing district and end in the Chelsea Market. for 3 reason; 1)it would much cooler to be outside earlier rather than later 2) ending the tour with the big, delicious, but heavy cookie from the bakery would have been so much nicer than starting with it. It really would have tasted great at the end\. It was so big and filling that it was a little hard to eat all the food that came after it ! 3) I would have been more inclined to shop at the market if we had ended there. As it was, we just got on the subway.
I did the Greenwich Village trip last year and loved it also. If you can't decide which to do, go with the Greenwich Village. There is a lot more architechture and history and the food was more memorable (oh ! the rissetto ball and the pizza-yum O) |

| Our tour guide was animated, excited, and well educated about the tour. It was an amazing experience that made our vacation to New York so much more memorable. I would definetly recommend it to anyone who loves food and the city! |

| This tour was one of the greatest events my group decided to do on our girls' weekend trip to the city! It was different, culturally awesome to learn about the very last area of NYC to undergo its transformation. The history of the area and what it is becoming is unbelievable.
The food made available was amazing to taste! If you are a fan of excellent food by some of the very best bakers and cooks in NYC then this is the tour for you! It is well worth the money to take this tour.
This is an area most probably woudln't think twice about visiting. You will be extremely disappointed for not choosing this tour soon - before the transformation of this area is complete.
Go - eat, drink, soak up the culture, and enjoy the old and new of the area!! |

| The tour guide was great, really enjoyed her. This was my 3rd Foods of NY walking tour and the other 2 the food was great, the history was phenomenal and the guide was helpful/informative!!! I was concerned with this one during the start because the tour guide took longer than normal giving us an overview on the history instead of doing a summary, starting the tour and proceeding with the history info. during the tour. We were all on a food tour and we were anxious to start tasting and she continued going on and on about the history and I thought it was going to be a long day. Well, the food tour started, the food was great, her history lesson turned out to be PHENOMENEAL and she warmed up, and all the tour went on it was a good fit with her being on the tour, and her incorporating the history with the food, the building, etc. NOw, looking back, I appreciate the info. very much, I guess because I was comparing to the former 2 tours, this was very different in that this buildning/neighborhood had/has a lot of history about it and there was a lot of history to share!!! So , I shouldn't have gotten so anxious in the beginning, should have just enjoyed it from the start, relaxed and it would have flowed as it should. THE TOUR WAS GREAT, THE HISTORY COMPONENT WAS AMAZING, AND THE TOUR GUIDE WAS PHENOMENAL. I actually want to do it again with my husband to absorb any info. I didn't catch on this first go round. I am telling all that go to NY to do these food tours, and specifically this one! |

| Our tour guide was enthusiastic and full of stories and information about the things we were seeing. The tastings were wonderful and at the end of the tour I did not need another thing to eat. It is like eating a multi-course meal. I would highly recommned the tour. This is a culture lesson that is very educational! |

| Thank you for one of the highlights of our entire NY trip. Four years ago we did the Greenwich tour and knew that we would enjoy this one also. Your company does a fabulous job of organizing, having enthusiastic guides, and presenting interesting facts. Next time we come we will do another tour. For your information we also did another walking tour with another company and it would not hold a candle to yours-difference as" daylight and dark." Thanks again for the BEST that New York has to offer. Pat |
