| My fiancee and I were very impressed by the tour guide Curt's knowledge about the Chelsea market., the meat packing area and its connection with the past and present, food knowledge in general, etc. Curt was very entertaining and the tour chose the best places to try the food. The tour was well organized and I learned alot. The food was plentiful. I would recommend this tour to anyone, in fact my friend will be visiting NY this coming weekend and I have recommended the tour to her. |

| I totally enjoyed the Chelsea Market tour, which I took last week with some friends. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I repeated it 5 days later with my husband - and we plan to go again soon with out-of-town visitors.
The tour is great for several reasons: the market itself is in a fascinating old building that's interesting to learn about; the vendors in the market have unique, superb products; tour participants get to try a lot of these products; the tour guide is extremely knowledgable and provides background information that visitors wouldn't otherwise have access to.
Some of the treats we enjoyed on the tour could be purchased by any visitor, such as the pastry, gelato and soups. But the behind-the-scenes specialty tastings are not available to the normal shopper. We especially enjoyed trying the Welsh sea salts. It is this insider's view of the Market that makes the tour so worthwhile.
I would heartily recommend the tour, in fact already have done so, and plan to take the other Foods of NY tours in the near future. |

| What a great find. We came to NYC with an open itinerary and saw the brochure for the Chelsea/MeatPacking tour in our hotel lobby. Gave it a shot and are glad we did. Our leader was entertaining, knowledgeable and gave honest appraisals of hotels, restaurants, etc. in the area. Really appreciated hearing the inside scoop from a real New Yorker of the history of the area. The food tasting were carefully selected and most were delicious. Came away full in both mind and body. |

| Chelsea Marketplace is an awesome place for a foodie. However, the tour would have been even more interesting if we could have visited more places outside of the marketplace and sampled foods from some of the establishments in the neighborhood.

| Wendy tried to be funny, unfortunately it was often at the expense of those of us in the crowd. Her comments were inappropriate at times and I would not recommend her. She was constantly nagging the group to get closer. It felt like she was herding sheep.
The food was good, but for the money, you could go to the Chelsea market and buy everything offered and more.

| We were expecting this to be great after the wonderful Greenwich village tour. Chelsea Market is smaller than I expected, and we didn't really get much more out of the tour than what we viewed for ourselves when we arrived early. But definitely go on the Greenwich Village tour - great history, insight into the area and buildings and wonderful tastings! |

| I enjoyed the tour...a bit of history off the beaten path! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. This is especially good if you have been to Manhattan before and are looking for something different. |
