Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

As a New Yorker, I have realized there is so much about this wonderful state that I do not know. I have been on both tours. One better than the other. The guides are witty, intelligent, extremely informative and just plain nice. The food is outrageously delicious. I recommend both tours. I learned so much, had a ball with my friends and got to sample some of the best Clam Chowder I have ever eaten.

This tour enhanced our enjoyment of the Chelsea Neighborhood! Besides the variety of yummy taste experiences in Chelsea Market, we saw interesting architecture and landscaping of the High Line, heard history of the Meat Packing District /Nabisco Cookie Factory and investigated remains of the old fort that used to stand where Macelleria is currently located. Our guide was energetic, friendly and informative!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Chelsea/meatpacking district tour. Our tour guide was personable and very knowlegeable about the area. Food tastings were delicious, unique with a wide variety of foods to try. Great to do around lunch time...definitely fills you up. Plan to try the SOHO tour next year. This was a delicious way to spend the afternoon!

This is our second food tour, and although we enjoyed the first Greenwich Village tour, this one was even better. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and interesting to listen to. The tasting experiences were varied and tasty. We went back to the market after to revisit many of the places we had been introduced to.

I love love love the food tours! This is our 2nd tour in 2 years. I love hearing the history and sampling all the unique foods is a special experience. After the tour we went back to Eleni's for more cookies, and the kitchen store for some supplies. Our tour guide was informative and fun and really knew her stuff. Keep up the good work, we can't wait to do the SOHO tour in the future!

I took this tour on October 13th with my visiting family from New Hampshire, my daughter and her boyfriend, and good friends from Queens. This tour was more than we had hoped for. We all had a terrific time. Our tour guide, Kurt was the best. His energy, knowledge, and personality was astounding. The food samples were excellent. I enjoyed walking through the meat packing district, escpecially since I've never visited that part of NYC. It was fun learning about the history of the area and seeing how the neighborhood is developing. I highly recommend this tour!

A few months ago we went on the Greenwich Village Walking tour and we thought that one was wonderful. However, the Chelsea/ Meat Packing is just as wonderful. Our tour guide Todd was most informative and pleasant. Our tastings were delicious and fun. It's amazing the history that is here in NYC and to be shared for everyone's enjoyment. We highly recommend this tour to everyone. We will definitly be joining other Zerve tours in the future.

I HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone traveling from out of town who is interested in learning more about NY's history in a really fun and interactive way. Our tour guide Bob was AWESOME, really knowledgeable, fun, and shared a lot of interesting facts. We sampled a lot of food, which we would have never done if we just walked around the market by ourselves. It was great walking around the meatpacking district and learned about its beginnings. It was a cold, brisk, and sunny day so it was nice getting some fresh air. This tour is well worth it and I'd do it again! It'll be a highlight of your trip.
