| My wife and I totally enjoyed the Chelsea Market tour. Not only did we experience many new and exciting shops, but we sampled some of the best food in town. The lobster bisque was the best we had ever had and the salt sampling was unique. We also experienced a double baked chocolate croissant that was fantastic!!!!! The food sampling alone was worth the fee.
The best part of the tour, however, was our tour guide Cindy!!!!! This wonderful, vivacious and personable lady made the whole experience FUN!!!! She filled us with soooo much history about the market and the surrounding area that the three hours went by too quickly. Instead of being tired after our long walk we were energized by the experience and my wife and I continued to comment on the tour as we walked back to our hotel.
If you haven't figured it out, this was a unique and phenomenal experience that we both loved. The next time we are in the City we plan to try and hookup with Cindy again and do the Greenwich Village tour. Who needs books, CDs or TVs when you can have Cindy????!!!!!

| Cindy was the reason this tour was so good. She talked about what is happening now around Chelsea Market area and the places we were seeing in addition to talking about the history of the area. She was great! |

| There is so much to learn and when you have a guide who both knows the material and can communicate with passion and enthusiasm you have the paerfect day. We got that! |

| I took the Greenwich tour a few years back and really enjoyed it, so I figured I'd try this one. It was fantastic! The guide was knowlegeable and entertaining. THe chosen vendors were very good, the area was perfect. I thought the tour was definitely worth the ticket price- food servings were generous- I like the Lobster bisque!
Thank you! |

| very interesting building and history of past and recent development and neighbourhood
food selection focused too much on sweet things--luncheon selection at buon italia was pedestrian and unsatisfying.
there was a sufficient quantity of food just not a balanced selection and not sophisticated enough--this is after all billed as a food tour and i (along with my friend) came away with no new knowledge
Tour guide very pleasant and knowledgable |

| We had a great time on the tour. Cindy was a fabulous tour guide with alot of knowledge of the area and New York history. We live in the tri state area and learned alot while having fun. The food is fabulous. I would recommend the tour to locals as well as people visiting the area. |

| This was a great experience! It was perfect for almost all ages (just need to cover the ears of the little kids when the "seedier" parts of town are being discussed. There was great food and a very livley tour guide. The tour was mostly inside the Chelsea market so the weather wasn't to much of a concern. It's necissary that you come with an empty stomach because there is a lot of food given to you. You get to see some of the more behind the scenes operations and it was just a great all around tour, wear comfortable shoes because you will be standing (it's a walking tour!) It was a great experiance, with a lot of food being served. You get a chance to taste a little bit of everything, and if you have any dietary concerns you will most likely be given a sample of some other kind of food (or so was the case on our tour). Great experiance and recomended for everyone! |

| our leader was informative but we felt there was too much time spent wandering back and forth through the chelsea market. In compaison to the Greenwich tour we had done previously, there was not the same variey of restaurant ideas, history, and architecture discussion involved. Maybe there just isn't as much to talk about in that area? we probably could have got the same amount of info in half the time. We enjoyed what we did experience and learn. Thank you.

| My husband and I really enjoyed the history and the food! Our tour guide was informative and a lot of fun. She was knowledgeable about many other areas as well. It was one of the best things we have done in the city in years. |
