| My husband and I were on vacation in New York . The tour was great! Curt (I hope I have his name spelled correctly) was entertaining and informative. The different foods we sampled were outstanding, especially the chowders at The Lobster Place.
We certainly enjoyed learning the history of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District. It was good to learn that particular area of New York was going through a restoration and renovation process. It is a part of New York that deserves to be saved. Curt's knowledge of the area helped make the tour that more interesting.
I am a regular viewer of programs of the Food Network. That is how I learned about the tour at Chelsea Market. My husband and I recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys learning about food and its history. If we get the opportunity to return to New York, we will visit Chelsea Market again. |

| The overall food tour was very good. Our instructor was very knowledgable and informative. I was traveling with my 70 year old mother would enjoyed the tour, however she would recommend for future tours the pace slows down, just a bit; she was exhausted after the first couple of hours.
It would be my suggestion that the tour guide allows time for rest during each tasting point or allow a 15 minute break after the first couple of hours. We also noticed a couple other people (eagerly) were also winded and eventually grab a cab and left before the tour was over.
Again the attractions and the food was great. |

| This was our second NY Food Tour. (Having experienced our first tour of Greenwich Village in 2005). To our pleasant surprise, we had thesame tour guide as our first, Kirk! He is absolutely awesome. With the perfect combination of humor, knowledge and enjoyment, he makes the food tour experience a MUST! Hope to be back again for another tour next year. Hope to see you again, Kirk! Thanks for a great afternoon! |

| We totally enjoyed our tour and learned so much about the Chelsea/Meatpacking Area from our entertaining guide, Kurt. His witty reparte and knowledge of the area made for a very enjoyable time. We went on the Greenwich Village Tour a few years ago with Todd, and thoroughly enjoyed that one too! This one had more food to be sampled, however. We were full of food and facts by the end of the tour. Our favorites were the chocolate croissants from the French Oven. I even dreamed about them the night after the tour!! I would recommend either tour to anyone who visits NYC. It is SO worth the money and time! |

| This was our third food tour with Foods of NY and definitely the best. Our guide, Kurt, was exceptional. His knowledge & personality made for a fun-filled day even with the weather from the hurricane blowing through.
Thanks for providing such an economical and information packed event! The food was wonderful too!! |

| My tour guide was excellent, had a lot of fun, insider tips about the Chelsea Market and the vendors we sampled. Interesting insights into the Meatpacking District area, fun facts about the various businesses, restaurants, etc in the area. Even had a celeb sighting too. It was excellent tour...all tours should aspire to be as good. |
