We thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting tour of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District! Our guide, Ed, was a fellow "foodie" and kept us interested and entertained while he shared the history and inner workings of the market and the Meatpacking District. In addition to the variety of delicious and generous tastings, we felt like we really got to know the area. It was fun to peek inside some of the new trendy restaurants. We even went back later to shop and have dinner! Highly recommend! |

My girlfriend and I took the Greenwich tour last year so wanted another tour this year. This was my favorite thing I did (includes seeing 2 B-way shows). This was the best money we spent, was so educational, and fun. Our guide was super!!! He kept us entertained and learned all our names within minutes. (KEEP HIM ON BOARD)! I can't find enough good words to say how much I enjoyed every minute. One reason I really liked this one is that it did not involve as much walking as the Village tour. I bought so much stuff from almost every place we went and we even ate dinner that night at Del Posta, all because of the tour. This is a fact that the places on tour should know. It is definitely a sale booster for them. I recommend this tour to locals, as well as visitors. Thank you so much and I will be looking forward to another of your tours next year

My fiancé and I are food network fans therefore we decided to take this tour. The tour was very entertaining, the food was delicious, and the tour guide was hilarious. Thank you so much. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves good food and entertainment. |

Our tour was and a lot of fun and we're glad we did it. Chelsea Market is really unique and a definite must see. our tour guide, Kurt, was a great blend of informative and funny. He seemed to be able to remember everyone's name and really knew his facts about the area. This activity was recommended to us by some friend's who had done it a few years ago and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. |

Our guide, Cindy, was full of vim, vigor and vitality. She was very knowledgable and provided a lot of relevant and interesting history. The choice of food sites included nice variety and the food/drink samples were excellent with one exception. My wife and I thought the flavor of the tea at our last food stop was so subtle that its taste was akin to very slightly flavored water.
We were not so enthusiastic about the last part of the tour, the meatpacking district.
After being on our feet for the good part of two hours, we were tired and found it hard to get involved in all the changes taking place in that part of Manhattan.
Overall, we enjoyed most of the tour immensely and would recommend it very highly with kudos to our guide, Cindy.

We had a great time on this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of useful information. The food was great and we went back later to purchase some more. I would recommend it to anyone except maybe those with small children as I think they would find it too long. |

This tour was fantastic in so many ways! First of all our guide was EXELLENT, he was very funny, witty and full of information. Not only do you visit the Chelsea Market and do food tastings there ,you also visit Trendy restaurants and a beautiful BrownStone with gardens I didn't even know exsited in NYC.
I am a "foodie" so I loved all the places we visited and the tastings. By the time we got to last tastings I don't think I wanted another bite.This tour is worth the money and time. |

The Food & Walking Chelsea Market and Meat Packing Tour is a must do while visiting NYC. As a "foodie" it was great tasting what the locals enjoy on a day-to-day basis. Also the historical factoids of the area was very interesting and to see the growth that has brought this little area of NYC a now hip trend spot to be seen.
What made this tour stand out was our tour guide "Kurt". If it wasn't for his in depth knowledge of the area, food history, and his funny witt to keep everyone engaged I think this would be just an ordinary walking tour.
If you're ever in the Big Apple, take this tour and definitely ask for "Kurt"!!! |

Our tour guide, Kurt, was excellent. He was very informative, provided us with
interesting background information, and kept each one of us actively involved.
He knew each one of us by name. We loved his humor.
The food samples were delicious and the servings were just enough to entice
the palate. Thanks for the water bottle.
It was more than we expected and would highly recommend it to others. It was truly
an enjoyable, entertaining, and informative tour. |

This tour and it's guide were phenomenal!! Not only was our guide an entertainer, but he knew his stuff and kept us interested and eating the whole tour...plus, he memorized everyone's name in the whole group in about 5 minutes!! The food we sampled was wonderful and the Chelsea Market is such an interesting place. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like a little more intimate view of an area along with some great taste treats! |
