Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

I bought tickets for my family for my mother's birthday. I think this might be the best present I ever gave her. We had such a great time. The food was amazing, and there was a good variety of food. We did not want the tour to end. There is some much to learn about the area, so much history and so much change. Since this is such a unque part of the city, that made the tour even better. Our tour guide was Cindy and she was a hoot. I look forward to taking another tour with her.

I live in NJ and my friend is from CT. We go into the city often, but never viisted the Chelsea Market. What a fabulous tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable giving us the history of the area and buildings. She had a great sense of humor. We visited many stores in the market, got to hear a little bit about each one, then sampled some of their wares - yummy. Our favorite was the tiny onions marinated in balsamic vinegar from the Italian market. The tour also took us outside to get a feel for the neighborhood, it's history and future plans. After the tour, we all went back into the market to purchase some of the delights we sampled (I bought two jars of the onions). I recommended this tour to all my friends and coworkers.

The tour was more than I had expected. Our tour guide, Bob, was very knowledgable and informative sharing the history of the Chelsea Market with us. I thought the tour was well planned and prepared and worth seeing if you are visiting NYC.

It was interesting to learn so much about Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District. Food tasting was absolutely delicious. Great way to start it off with an "everything cookie." I totally recommend this to both locals and tourists!

Our guide Bob, a retired law librarian, brought the history of Chelsea to life guiding us on a fun and delicious tour. Also, with most of the tour indoors, it's perfect for a cold or rainy day.

This was a great tour of an interesting neighborhood. History, architecture, ambiance -- oh, did I forget to add FOOD? It all gets an A+. And our guide, Kurt, gets an A++. Sign up already!!

Our guide was very knowledgeable, patient and funny, he made the 3 hours fly by. The food was a very interesting selection and I was definitely satisfied. It's great to see a part of NYC in a very original way. I'll recommend it to locals and international friends who come here to visit.
