Great food, great history -- and a bargain! When they say you won't need lunch after the tour, they mean it. This tour is a MUST!

I went on this tour in 2006 and in 2009. Had fun and food both times. Would like a more little variety for this repeat customer. (We even had the same tour guide!) But that's nitpicking....the tour was definitely worth it. And I'd even do it a third time.

| We joined this tour - my family (wife, 2 girls 12 and 14) and two friends (2 old guys my age) with the idea that we would learn a bit about Chelsea area and enjoy some food rain or shine.
Well we did - and plenty more. The history, the assortment of foods to everyone's taste, the great tour guide who kept all of us interested - he remebered everyone's name, and sprinkled with fashion and city character that really was unique to this area of NYC.
We ALL enjoyed the experience - this was really an inexpensive and enjoyable event.
Well worth the while.
After the tour, we went back to explore some more and we knew exactly what we wanted to do!
Thanks and Cheers.

This is our 2nd food tour--we did the Greenwich Village last year--and we thoroughly enjoyed both. I worried that going on 2 would be too much of the same thing, but they were quite different. Our adult daughter who lives in the area was with us and enjoyed them also. Curt was our guide this year and he was superb (and a hoot!).

The tour was excellent and our tour guide told a great story on the history of the market. The tour pace and timing was efficient but not too tiring. Really enjoyed rounding off the tour at Macelleria. It was delicious!

Kurt spent a few minutes with each group and made sure to include people (in a nice, welcoming way) throughout the tour. He provided an excellent blend of culinary expertise, with local history and interesting background to make it a FUN, interesting adventure.

Recently had family (brother and sister in law with teenage nephew) in town who are true foodies. Big Iron Chef fans etc. We had a great time sampling the various "flavors" the chelsea market has to offer. As locals we enjoyed the historical aspect of the tour. I felt the tour had something to offer everyone in the group. Size of the group was perfect, guide was fantastic. Certainly would consider participating in another local foodie tour offered through your company.

Our tour guide was animated, excited, and well educated about the tour. It was an amazing experience that made our vacation to New York so much more memorable. I would definetly recommend it to anyone who loves food and the city!
