We went to the tour, not really knowing what to expect. We loved it; was a great way of discovering NY history, culture and food (food IS culture!). The guide (Diana) was warm, lively and knowledgeable and seemed to love what she was doing. The Chelsea market is a good illustration of how to smoothly pass from the industrial to the post-industrial age. We will certainly use food tasting tours on our future trips to NY to discover other parts of the city and the heritage.

It was our second day in NY and Diana was just bursting with information for us. A most enjoyable day packed with treats of all sorts. Good value too. Highly recommended.

We live a 3-hour car ride from New York so we try to visit at least once per year. This time we had adults and teenagers. This tour was really great! Our guide, Kurt, was very outgoing and personable. We highly enjoyed his tour and would definitely recommend him as a guide. Some of the teenage girls in our group did not like all the food, but most liked everything and were very full afterwards. We will definitely consider doing a different tour in the future! Thanks.

This was our second tour with you and it was as great as the first. The food was phenomenal as was our guide. If you could only control the weather, the day would have been perfect. Thanks once again for making our yearly trip to the city a fun time.

Wow, I was completely surprised about how much fun I had during the tour. Darryl, our guide was engaging, informative, and down right funny. At no point did the tour seem like it dragged. It was a great day spent walking around the Market and Neighborhood. Our group was the first to do a tasting at Marcelleria, and it was amazing. Great food choices, fun information, and just a nice all around day. Oh, and by the way, I'm a New Yorker that spends lots of time in that area at night, so it was wonderful to see it in the daylight.

While we enjoyed the tour and would recommend it, we thought it was too expensive for the tastings provided. We were expecting to have tastings from the restaurants we visited, for example at Morimoto's. The tour guide Darryl was great. When we had the cheese tasting it was very limited--one tiny piece of cheese on a tiny cracker. The lobster bisque and the Eleni's cookie were the highlights and were very good. More food needed to be provided for $44 per person.

I am from Brooklyn and have never been to the Chelsea Market so when a foodie friend of my was in town I thought that it would be fun. It exceeded my expectations! Great tastings and an attentive and knowledgable tour guide.

This tour was absolutely fantastic. My Mom and I have gone on the tour in Greenwich and now the Chelsea Markets tour and each was interesting, educational and the food was very good. We loved it and can't wait to take the remaining tours offered. I have also told my college age daughter and her friends to take the tour and they have enjoyed it as well. The tours give an insider's glimpse to the areas explored, a great understanding of the foods offered in the area and all at very reasonable prices. Our last tour guide, Curt Upton, gave a fantastic tour full of stories of the area presented in a very humorous and engaging manner.
