| The Chelsea Market and Meat Packing District Tour was fantastic! My sister-in-law and I are from NJ and love spending time in NYC, so we are always looking for things to do over there. I came across the food tasting tours while "surfing the net". This tour is well worth the time and money spent. We just loved the market and the changes made to the surrounding area. There were enough tastings included in the tour that you could surely bypass lunch and go for a wonderful dinner in one of the many area restaurants. Our tour guide, Todd, was just great and so informative. He always kept the interest level high throughout the entire 3 hour tour. Great job! I have recommended this tour to all friends and family. When thinking of a great gift, this tour goes right to the top of my list. I will definitely try out the other tours offered. |

| This was my first tour. Next year i will go to Greenwich Village and I will compare the two. I loved the history. The guide was very informative and made the tour very exciting. Give him a raise because he earned it. The food was great. it was a great experience and i can't wait for next year. |

| This tour was excellent. It provided history, background, helpful tips, and great food. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is not familiar with the Chelsea area of New York. Our tour guide (Kurt) was one of the best. I would definately book tours in other areas of New York through your company. |

| This tour was a great way to see the Chelsea/ Meatpacking District neighborhoods! Curt was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area. The food was plentiful and wonderful - I just wish I had skipped breakfast that morning! We really enjoyed the variety: tea, gelato, chocolate milk, lobster bisque, cookies, stuffed olives, and pasta. It was great to go inside Mario Batali's and Morimoto's restaurants (even though they weren't open) and to find out that they weren't too expensive. We will definitely go back to some of the places (especially Macelleria) on our next trip to New York! |

| This was a perfect blend of history with pop culture, and food from many ethnicities!
The food servings were much more than a tasting. Come hungry! All food was fabulous with no pressure to try something you're not interested in.
We enjoyed the other people on the tour.
We're recommending this to other family and friends and would definitely do another tour our next trip to the city. |

| If you have a chance to visit Chelsea Market, please do, but you could do it on your own. I believe each group takes a chance with its guide, and ours was too intense. She kind of "pushed us around" instead of giving us a relaxing 3 hour history lesson as our guide did last season when we did the Greenwich Village and SoHo tour. The guide makes or breaks it as far as I'm concerned.
All the shops in the market could be seen independently. Most give tastings anyway, so you wouldn't be missing out on the food.
We spent 2 hrs. in the market which was overkill. Once we got outside it was more interesting, but again we were micromanaged by our guide. The two stops out of the market were interesting and the food at Macelleria (?) was very good. They even gave us water and let us sit down with our food. Our group liked it so much we went back for supper.
The Chelsea Mkt. tour should include 1 hr. max in the market, traveling at a more leisurely pace, and then more on the streets of NYC which is not as easy to do on your own. |

| This was a fabulous tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I went with my mom, 2 aunts and a cousin. We all enjoyed it so much. We all thought that the tour was very informative and we loved our tour guide. I wish I could remember his name because he really made the tour special and fun. I also want to say thank you to the tour guide because he made sure that my one aunt had something to eat at every place we stopped for food (she has a gluten intolerance). We all enjoyed ourselves so much, that when we come back next year, we will go on one of the other tours offered. |

| Bob our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Chelsea area, and we appreciated his experiences there as a native New Yorker. This neighborhood is so vibrant and has so much colorful history. We totally enjoyed the tastings and will go back to the area on future trips to try some of the restaurants and shops we went into on the tour. This is our second walking tour from Foods of New York ,and we will definitely take their other offerings on future trips to New York City. |
