| I have not been to NYC in 10 years prior to this trip. I will be back much sooner this time and take additional tours. It was everything I would have wanted and more. The food samples were generous and most enjoyable. Our guide Curt was terrific, very informative and insightful! Thank you. |

| I took the Foods of NY walking tour a couple of years ago, going to Greenwich Village and had Cindy as my tour guide. It was great! To compare the two, while Todd was a good tour guide, Cindy's enthusiasm for the neighborhood shone, while Todd just seemed like this was just a job. He apologized a few times for things, which I would not have even noticed had he not done that.
I also prefer the neighborhood of GV more because that tour dealt more with the history of the area, as opposed to the Meatpacking district, which dealt more with the future of the area.
Lastly, I did not find the food to be as spectacular in Chelsea as it was in GV. It was not bad, and there were some items that were unusual - never had fresh olives before. The bread from Amy's, while we did not go inside Amy's, was outstanding, and there were a couple of other unique foods. But choc milk is choc milk. Everything we ate on the GV tour was unique.
I would recommend the Foods of NY company, but I would not recommend the Chelsea tour unless someone just needed something to do to kill time. I would highly recommend the GV tour.
Thanks.

| We are always looking for entertaining and informative tours of NYC. This is by far the best company we have ever toured with. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of Chelsea market & the Meating Packing District. Gave us past, present and future information. He was very passionate in his delivery of information about the village which held our attention. The choice of food establishments allowed us try food and places we would have walked right past prior to the tour. We did both the Chelsea and Greenwhich tour the same day and didn't get overwhelmed. The next day, we visited several of the estalishments we toured the day before( for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Can't wait to visit NYC again so we can use the map & handouts we received. Thanks again for a wonderful family experience (age of our children 20 & 14). |

| What a wonderful way to visit a great neighborhood in NYC.
Our tour guide was the best. He had a great sense of humor, knew the area and was very informative.
They were correct in saying "lunch afterwards is not needed"
A fantastic day was had by all. |

| My friends are food-aholics and loved seeing the Chelsea Market ,which we didn't know existed. We went back to several of the shops and made purchases after the tour. It was a wonderful 3 hours with a terrific, very entertaining guide. Definitely got our money's worth. |

| Great tour of the market and area. Kurt, our guide, was very informative and quiete entertaining. Great value for the 3 hours - especially with the great food we tasted. PS - Like the salt tasting - not what I expected but very informative and fun! |

| We were only in town for 3-4 days, so I felt like this 3 hours could've been spent better on something else. There's so much to do in NYC. But, if you're there for a week or so and you're interested in the history and culture, then you might enjoy it. We felt that the pace was a bit slow. If it's your first time in NYC then I'd save this excursion for the next time. You could always stop by and sample a few things on your own in far less time. Fat Witch Bakery is definitely a do not miss. |

| I would not have known Chelsea Market was even there if it had not been for this tour, and it is a beautiful, interesting place. I would prefer to have more samples of unusual foods, and history of the foods/chefs of NYC, but overall, the tour was interesting. |

| I toured Chelsea Market on Saturday, June 3, 2006. The guide was funny, informed and a pleasure to spend time with. He kept us on schedule but also allowed us roaming time. As for the market itself, it's beyond words. I loved every tasting and felt welcomed along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to locals & tourists who love good food. |
