| A bountiful variety of delicious foods, a charming guide (the very personable and appealing Kurt!) sharing countless fascinating, fun and funny facts (historical, cultural, architectural, gastronomic, culinary, etc, etc, etc......!), numerous intriguing locations....it all added up to some of the best hours we've spent in New York City or anywhere! A truly great way to get a feel (and a taste!) for a place -- HIGHLY recommended! You will enjoy! |

| My friend and I had planned to take the tour on Saturday, June 24, 2006. Unfortunately, she had a famiy emergency at home and we had to leave New York in the early morning hour to get back to New Jersey. We plan on coming to take the tour in the fall on our bi-annual visit. At that time, I will be more than happy to fill our a questionaire. |

| This was the most fun we had all weekend! Two families, one from the West Coast, with 5 kids between us.....Our guide was Kurt, and we loved him! Obviously he is a foodie, he loves NY, loves the whole renovation of the meatpacking district....he's a hoot. His stories and the delivery were fantastic, the food was dreamy, and the history of the whole place is too cool.
I had done the tour of the Village a few months ago and loved that as well, but this one was so much better....mainly because of our guide. I would (and will) reccomend this to friends! |

| We have a grea t time on the Chelsea Market tour. Our tour guide was excellent and made it lots of fun for all. We did however get a little bored walking around indoors for the 1st 2 hours. We did the Greenwich Village Tour last fall and I would highly recommend that one if I had a choice - much more interesting!, lots of history and a great walking tour! |

| My daughter and I planned a day in the city and decided to do the Chelsea Market tour. We had an absolute ball! Darryl was a doll, very informative and lots of fun. I've been on the Greenwich Village tour (also great!) and I was pleased to see how different but fantastic both tours were. We really enjoyed all of the tastings, including the more unusual salt tasting (definately my first) to the delicious gelato. All of the stores in the market are such wonderful specialty stores, with so many choices. It was fun watching native New Yorkers do their morning shop in the market while we were waiting for our tour to begin. We loved all of the history of both the market and the meatpacking district. Knowing that I was in the same building as the "Food Network" was a definite plus for me. I wish I lived closer so I could take advantage of all of the great shopping that Chelsea Market offers. I highly recommend this tour to both out of towners as well as locals. |

| our guide darrel was great-- energetic, friendly, knowledgeable. chelsea market tastings were more varied and substantial than the greenwich village one (which i did last week). due to the fact that this tour mostly takes place indoor i'd definitely recommend it for wintertime tourists! |

| Having taken the Foods of New York food and walking tour of Greenwich Village, my daughter and I expected to have an awesome experience, and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide, Kurt, was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. We ate some fabulous food, went "behind the scenes" of Chelsea Market, got some good tips on other restaurants in the area, and learned some interesting history about that part of Chelsea. A wonderful blend of history, good food, and culture. |

| My parents were in town visiting me from Michigan so I arranged for us to take this tour. We took the train in from New Canaan, CT and spent 3 great hours with our tour guide Kurt. Not only was the tour informative, the food samples delicious but Kurt's personality really made the tour memorable! My parents had a great time and especially loved that Kurt took us to his friend's brownstone and they got to see her secret garden. It was a side of New York that you would not expect and not usually get a chance to see. I have recommended this tour to several people already and will continue to do so! |

| I was pleased to see when we arrived for our tour that we had the same tour guide that we had last year when we took the Greenich Village Tour. We had such a good time last year that we knew we would this year as well. We were not wrong. The guide is so enthusiastic and full of information that you can't help but feel the same way. I would never have even known about the Market Place without his tour and my group of 6 was impressed. We ate our way through to the point of ALMOST saying
"We can't eat another bite. We found getting to go in the back room of the Fish Market very interesting. The Italian Market made us want to just sit and stay for the day. We also got to go into one of the Brownstone homes in the area and sit and rest in the back garden of the house. This we all found to be fun to get to see one of the houses. I would recommend this tour and the other Cultural Food Tours of the City.
Our Tour Guide was Kirt and he does a fantastic job. He gets moving fast but then realizes he is leaving us old ladies behind and waits for us.
