| I go to New York City every year and I loved this tour. It was different from the typical tourist stuff and I learned a lot about another part of the city. The food was great and I bought several of the items right in Chelsea market. |

| I live in Chelsea and shop at Chelsea Market so while it was nice, I two hours in the market was a big too much for me. But I brought my parents, who were in town from Texas and they really enjoyed themselves and I think that's the more important review. |

| I took my mother with me on a tour of Chelsea Market. Our tour guide, Daryl, was really fantastic! We were both very impressed with the history and the food. We thought Daryl was very knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and very genuine. We were happy to have him as our guide.
Our favorite part were the chocolate croissants from the bakery. Everything tasted great. Also, we were able to go on top of a hotel and get a tremendous view of Manhattan.
My mother is from Brooklyn and she was absolutely thrilled to really learn more about New York.
Thanks again to Daryl! |

| There was so much information that we obtained that I would have never known without this tour. Our guide, Kurt was spectacular. His knowledge and humor was right on the money.
The food in Chelsea market was outstanding. We went back and purchased alot of the items we tasted.
We would recomend this tour to everyone going to New York |

| This was phenominal, Kurt was great!
I would highly recommend this tour in the future.
We did the Grenwich Village tour last year and were excited to do this one.
Kurt was extremely enthusiastic, knowledgeable and just truly happy to be there with us. Offered up many recommendations of great sights. |

| Our guide was fun and very nice and the food tour was a great way to discover Chelsea Market, especially since you can always go back to your favorite stores after the tour. Our group was nice and I even met another European person (I live in Philadelphia but am French and she was on vacation in NY from Germany)! The booklet/documentation was also very helpful for we tasted and saw so many things that we wouldn't have been able to remember it all if we hadn't been given this booklet. I was thrilled and very happy with the tour; I took many pictures and will definitely recommend it to all the people I know.
PS: I was too "shy" to give the German woman my e-mail address but, if possible, could you please forward/e-mail it to her?? We had a good time together during the tour. I am Stephanie (tsarane@hotmail.com). Thank you! |

| I expected the food to be different to include more meal like samples instead of cheese, meats, and a lot of sweets. I did not expect so much sweet. Had I known that I would have chosen a different tour. The tour guide was very nice and informative. |

| We had the best time with Kurt in Chelsea Market Tour. Our Guide was excellent and seemed so comfortable with all the staff in the different places we visited. He was funny, resourceful, and energetic. Our touring group was very diverse but he made everyone feel relaxed. This tour allows you to discover the hidden treasures in the revamped district and make you want to visit there again and again. Thanks Kurt for all your knowledge and enthusiasm, it was a wonderful time. |

| I found it a bit boring that the whole tasting was limited to the Market because one gets the feeling that one could do the tour on his own. Also, I found it a bit stressful to eat most of the food while standing (e.g. the croissants and the soup).
However, the guide was very nice and funny. Also the other participants were really nice and the guide managed to bring the group together.
Thanks for three nice hours!

| This was a wonderful activity. My husband loves architecture and we both love food so this activity proved to be a great way to combine both of our loves. I should point out that it was MUCH more than a tasting. You should come with a somewhat empty stomach because their tasting portions are quite sizeable.
Our tour guide was fabulous! I think his name was Kurt. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and did an excellent job of telling us stories associated with each stop. He even took us to see a few sites that weren't on the outlined agenda.
Now that we've been introduced to the Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking district we will definitely return on our next trip to New York City. We'll also want to take another of Kurt's tours if he's around. |
