| I took the Greenwich tour taste year, and on the basis of that, chose the Chelsea Market/Meat Packing tour, again with my teenage daughter. I enjoyed touring Chelsea Market, which I had never been to before, but there was too much dead time. We didn't exit the Chelsea Market to start the meat packing tour until the 3 hours was nearly up, so we sent a lot of time not moving very far. That's deadening on legs and not very interesting. Once we hit the outside area and visited a couple of restaurants, I needed to leave because of time constraints, so really didn't get to do the Meat Packing District tour part. I presume we didn't miss many tastings, as I got the sense they were all inside the Chelsea Market. I HOPE we didn't miss many, because the food we had was great.
As before, parts I enjoyed were the food tastings (all delicious), and getting to see the architecture of the building and the history (but not too much history, horrrah!) The two restaurants we went into (Morimoto's and Mario Batali's places) were lovely restraurants, but what's the point of just walking into a place and then out? Maybe there were some food tastings arranged at some of the other places, but they weren't that amazing locations that a visit was particularly enlightening. How about a least a peak at a menu? I would also totally love to see one of the kitchens gearing up for the evening.
I gave this a recommended rating, but waffled between that and neutral. Tighten up the timing, that would improve it a lot. I suspect the fault lies with our particular tour guy (Sam). And I still am interested in doing the Central Village/Soho tour. |

| We gave this as a gift to my family at Christmas time. We had 6 adults and 3 teens. Our tour guide was Kurt. We are all into food, love to cook and love to be together. I knew the tour would be fun, but the whole experience just blew me away. Kurt was an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable about food and the history of the market and surrounding areas. He gave us valuable "insider" tips to some of the restaurants and clubs in the area. He also acknowledged the shellfish allergy my nephew has which I had informed foodsofny when I made the reservation. When we arrived at the Lobster Box Kurt gave my nephew an olive rosemary bread as he could not participate in the tasting at this spot.
There was certainly enough food and all of it was delicious. We had a very rainy windy day and it was perfect because 2/3rds of the tour was inside. It was my niece’s birthday weekend and this was the icing on the cake. We can't wait to do the other two tours. Thanks for a great day. |

| Our family of four (two adults, two teens) really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area and its food stores and restaurants. All of the samples were great and it was fun getting to know a different part of the city. After the tour, we went back and did some shopping in several of the stores of Chelsea Market. We will definitely do one of the other food tours another time. |

| My wife and I took our 22 year old daughter, her roomate, and our 14 year old son. Everyone had a great time!! The presentation was informative, and the food was great! The day was freezing, so it was nice that most of the tour was inside Chelsea Market. We did the Greenwich Village food tour 2 years ago, and it was also cold, and that tour was mostly outside. I would not recommend this tour for small children, because I fear that they would become antsy. But, all in all, the Chelsea Market tour was well worth the money! |

| This was our first excursion of this type. Our Guide was informative and knowledgeable about the food and the establishments in the area. Our children were as engaged as we were. Our hats are off to a great program. |

| We all enjoyed-(husband, son-age 20 and I) the Chelsea market tour. We never would have known about this new area if it weren't for the walking tour. Each store was fun, unique and all the different food tastings were delectable. We did 2 food walking tours and both added a lot to our NY vacation. Thanks. |

| Great tour! Curt, our guide, was humourous without being obnixious. He was also very knowledgeable, and did an outstounding job memorizing everyone's names. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends! |

| We enjoyed the tour. A bit of history, some fun trivia, and a very good guide. Toured some neat food purveyors which I will purchase from via Internet. Don't expect any healthy fare! |
