| We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Unfortunately our tour was scheduled towards the end of our visit. I recommend that you book the tour at the beginning of your trip because you will definitely want to come back to the Chelsea Market! The tour guide was personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable....a foodie after my own heart! |

| -Recommend for locals and tourists alike (I'm a recent resident to NYC)
-This tour is good for inclement weather (temperature or rain) as the first couple of hours are inside the Chelsea Market. It would also be good for those interested in a tour but not wishing to walk long distances (ie I was thinking of my mum visiting soon and not wanting to have her walk a lot)
- The tour is a great blend of history, food and fun and is well managed and organized
- Plan to set aside some money post tour as you will want to pick up something from every spot
- In summary worth every dollar spent! |

| The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting experience. The guide was very personable and gave of us lots of tidbits of information. I can't wait to bring my next group of family and friends to the Chelsea Mkt./Meatpacking District Food Tasting Tour. |

| I live in NJ and my friend is from CT. We go into the city often, but never viisted the Chelsea Market. What a fabulous tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable giving us the history of the area and buildings. She had a great sense of humor. We visited many stores in the market, got to hear a little bit about each one, then sampled some of their wares - yummy. Our favorite was the tiny onions marinated in balsamic vinegar from the Italian market. The tour also took us outside to get a feel for the neighborhood, it's history and future plans. After the tour, we all went back into the market to purchase some of the delights we sampled (I bought two jars of the onions). I recommended this tour to all my friends and coworkers. |

| Not sure what to expect-but figured at $40 what bad could happen? Arrived early---snooped around---still unsure. Bob the tour guide arrived and the fun began. Enjoyed the tasting, but really LOVED the commentary on the building and and how it morphed from an abandoned warehouse to its new life. Appreciated the neighborhood walk and although I felt really weird tromping thru the penthouse of the building down the street, it offered a great view of the Hudson River and the area.
Would love to have seen the FoodNetwork Studio.
Eagerly planning a return visit to try the other food tours and hope some other day-long treks will be added. (we headed off to Economy Candy---which is also interesting.)
Our tour guide had a very well-rounded knowledge of NYC and answered many (history) questions we had that were unrelated to Chelsea Market. |

| Curt was a great guide, very personable and extremely informative. We all Loved the croissants, and lobster bisque, seafood chowder, and Italian sampling. We had a good sampling of other foods as well. Did not leave the tour hungry. We stopped at several spots of interest for touristy sightseeing. Very enjoyable 3 hours! |

| Our guide Kurt went over and above the call of duty to give us and the rest of our group a wonderful experience. The things we saw and tasted were puctuated by the information and experience that Kurt brought to the tour.
I would definitely not only recomend the tour to anyone who is a "foodie" but I will take the tour again the next time I am in NYC!
A wonderful experience--a highlight of our week! |
