| We chose this tour because it covered areas we'd never visited previously. The Chelsea Market turned out to be fascinating--an artfully restored former baked goods plant with one-of-a-kind wholesale food operations completely unlike the cookie-cutter businesses that so often occupy restored historic buildings. The various foods and beverages we sampled there were delicious and generous in amount--so much so that we didn't even think about eating again until dinnertime. We also enjoyed the walk through the Meatpacking District and the vivid contrast between its working-class origins and appearance and its newfound cache as a high-end shopping and nightlife destination. The size of the group (16) never seemed unwieldy, even when we needed to pack ourselves into relatively small spaces. Best of all was our guide, Curt, who is extraordinarily witty and entertaining but never at the expense of being informative. |

| We had the best time on this tour! Kurt was funny and knowledgeable and gave a really fun tour. It was even better than we expected. The food was excellent and plentiful, too. We'll be recommending the tour to all of our friends. |

| This was a fascinating experience. We did not realize that this area was thriving with so much history and great food. Cindy, our tour guide, was very knowledgable and had a great personality which made and made it an enjoyable experience. |

| My wife and I really enjyed this tour, which was recommended by a friend. The food was excellent, and learning the history of the area was even better. Our guide had a great personality and took us for a tour of the area, even talking a couple friends into letting us see their restaurants and in one case, Bed and Breakfast. We got to New York every two years and it was the first time we ever tried this...we will be taking another tour next time.

| Having been to NYC many times before, I was looking for something different. My friend recommended the tour, and it completely lived up to my expectations. The food was delicious-- and getting to have tastes of everything is the way to go! ....But my brother and I thought the best part was learning about the Chelsea Mkt, and area. We look forward to returning in a few years and seeing how much it has changed! Our tour guide Wendy was an added bonus-- her animation and humor really brought the tour to life! Thanks oodles! |

| We thoroughly enjoyed the upbeat personality of our guide as well as the great nibbles along the way. The day was drizzly and cold so it turned out to be the perfect tour as most of it was indoors. Thanks for a great afternoon! |

| My wife and I totally enjoyed the Chelsea Market tour. Not only did we experience many new and exciting shops, but we sampled some of the best food in town. The lobster bisque was the best we had ever had and the salt sampling was unique. We also experienced a double baked chocolate croissant that was fantastic!!!!! The food sampling alone was worth the fee.
The best part of the tour, however, was our tour guide Cindy!!!!! This wonderful, vivacious and personable lady made the whole experience FUN!!!! She filled us with soooo much history about the market and the surrounding area that the three hours went by too quickly. Instead of being tired after our long walk we were energized by the experience and my wife and I continued to comment on the tour as we walked back to our hotel.
If you haven't figured it out, this was a unique and phenomenal experience that we both loved. The next time we are in the City we plan to try and hookup with Cindy again and do the Greenwich Village tour. Who needs books, CDs or TVs when you can have Cindy????!!!!!
