| Our tour guide was animated, excited, and well educated about the tour. It was an amazing experience that made our vacation to New York so much more memorable. I would definetly recommend it to anyone who loves food and the city! |

| on our girlfriends turning 40 weekend in NYC! We really enjoyed learning about this area of the city. The tour guide had all kinds of fun facts, handled questions well and was just really fun! Lots of good food, no need to eat before going on the tour. We would highly recommend this tour! |

| My 55 y/o mother and I did this tour on a Sunday in January. Our group was a mixed group of mothers/daughters, singles in town on business, local NYC family with teens, local NJ family with teens.
Our guide Kurt was entertaining and informative. He also provided bottled water for everyone and a packet of information that listed all places we would stop into or pass by-which will be very helpful for return trips!
We toured the Chelsea Market (old Nabisco cookie factory) and sampled food from many of the shops and then walked the surrounding meatpacking district.
Our food: large gourmet cookie, organic chocolate milk, full cup of lobster bisque(or another choice), chocolate truffle, gourmet potato chips and gourmet salts, nice sampling of Italian meats/cheeses/olive/bread, buttermilk biscuit with fresh apricot/blackberry spread, organic tea, and wonderful small Italian gelato-we were also given a coupon for a free wine tasting on our own. He was prepared and provided vegetarian alternatives to the one vegetarian in our group.
The tour was 75% indoors with a bathroom break. After Chelsea Market, we walked the neighborhood stopping into a couple of restaurants and for historical and humorous information. We briefly viewed a home/garden that is also a B&B-interesting for outsiders to see. We went to the Hotel Vansevoort's roof top bar area and around to the back open air deck for a great view. The tour ended 1-2 blocks from where we began at Chelsea Market. A word of caution-one participant received a $115 parking ticket for parking outside of the Market-pay careful attention to the signs.
The tour was interesting and informative. We both agreed that we saw things and learned information that we would not have noticed/ found/ learned on our own. We were happy and not hungry at the end of our tour. But, for large eaters I would not count this as "lunch" and for foodies...there was nothing outside the box or anything you have not had before...but, again, it was all good.
The tour was $40pp and all participants tipped at the end. Our guide helped give everyone directions on how to get to their next destination or the nearest subway. I recommend this tour for tourist and locals alike. I will not do this tour again...because, I don't see how it can vary much...but, will definitely try another tour from this company.

| my first time in NYC and my wife scheduled this. it was well presenteted, very knowlegable tour guide (kurt) and an all around fun time. the only suggestion i would make would be to intergrade the eating/sightseeing portions of the tour. first half was all deli tour/eating, second half all tour of meat packing, unique houses and hotel views. overall, well worth the price of admission. my only complaint, the tour guide, a resident of new york city, couldn't tell me where on 11th avenue "manhatten motor cars" was. it's NYC's only bentley/lamborghini/rolls-royce dealership. when we got back to our hotel on park avenue, a quick check of the phone directory indicated we were only two blocks south and four blocks east of the dealership from where our tour started.

| Learning about the historical Chelsea Market and the meatpacking district is fascinating enough. Add mouthwatering samples from the wholesalers at the market and it makes for a perfect, scrumptious afternoon in New York. It's a three-hour walking tour, but the time flew as our totally fun, outgoing tour guide regaled us with history and New York gossip, and we anticpated the next yummy stop along the way. Highly recommended! |

| My wife and I took this tour as part of my birthday celebrations. Diana (or Diane) was our tour guide. We had a really good time going to the various gourmet food places and restaurants. Diana gave us a very detailed and interesting history of how the Chelsea market came into being. We also enjoyed the inside peek into the high end restaurants Morimoto and Del Posto during their off hours. I would recommend this trip to friends and would like to revisit all these places again on our own.
We were quite tired at the end of the tour...but I guess that goes to show that a lot of ground was covered during this tour. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat and sunglasses if for the outdoor part. |
