This is a great way to spend a few hours - eating and getting into the neighbourhood's past. Our guide was fun, relaxed, warm and a fast-talking fact-spinner. I love the stories about the area and the building and how it ended up what it is today.
I will definitely be taking my overseas friends and family on one of these tours when they come and stay... I know they'd love a more detailed sightseeing experience than the usual 'NY must-see' list.... and, lunch is taken care of plus you walk away with some good recommendations for drinks/ dinners. We're trying one out this weekend! |

Each eating/walking tour gets better. I started with Greenwich Village and it was amazing. Next I booked the Central Village/SoHo tour and it was incredible. This time I had the best tour guide, Curt, who, within minutes, knew everyone's name and inserted them into his presentation. He was funny, smart and entertaining. He could answer any questions asked. These tours are the best things going in NYC. Sign up for them all! |

Our tour guide, Curt, was excellent. He provided great detail in describing the history of the area in an entertaining and funny format. He also was very knowledgeable about the restaurants/shops and about the food being served. Finally, the food was wonderful -- and plentiful. I highly recommend this tour. |

I am a out-of-towner who wanted to take in a real expirence of New York City, and what a better way than to combine a walking tour of some great neighborhoods, with local food. My sister and I took the tour and had a great time. Our tour guide really knew both the history of the stores we visited and how their food was important to the neighborhood, and to the city itself. And to have the pleasure to have a local walk us around Chelsea and the Meatpacking areas was great, he really knew his stuff!
Can't wait to come back and take another tour! Thank you! |

This was our second time doing this tour and it was even better than the first. We bought friends with us who absolutely loved it! We were fortunate enough to have Darryl Blackburn again as our tour guide. We've taken your Greenwich Village and SoHo tours also but Darryl has been the most knowledgeable and entertaining guide we experienced! Food was great again! |

Our tour leader was Daryl and he was a great tour leader. He walked us through the market provided great information and made us all feel really relaxed.
Even though it was raining he made being outside fun.
It was a great tour overall and would recommend. |

I went on this tour with my husband and daughter. My daughter lives in NYC and we like to visit her as often as we can. I had been on the Greenwich Food Tour by my self and liked it so much that when planning this last trip both my husband and daughter wanted to go on a Food Tour. I chose the Meat Packing District, because it was winter and knew the majority of it would take place inside. As with the previous tour this one was so much fun. We started with a huge cookie that was amazing. Our guide was very good. You could tell she loved her job. These tours are certainly fun because of the food but you get so much history of the area, and in this case the building. Our guide had pictures that showed what the building and area once looked like. She was a lot of fun and after 3 hours of eating, talking and walking it felt like everyone on the tour had bonded. When it ended it seemed like we were saying good by to good friends. |
