| This was actually my second food tour. The first was of the Greenwich Village area several years ago which was also WONDERFUL (even in the rain)! This was equally as interesting - or more, if possible! The guide (Curt) was enthusiastic and obviously enjoyed his surroundings . He was very contientious of making everyone comfortable and involved. All the food was terrific. I have even ordered from one of the shops since I've been home. IT WAS A TRULY GREAT EXPERIENCE AND I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO DO IT AGAIN.
I do wish, however, that we had gotten to take just a peak at the Food TV taping area. I was not aware that was located in that building, but it would have been great to have seen the floor and setups where the shows are filmed. That would have really been a treat! |

| Apart from a super tasty tour of Chelsea Market, this was a really nice way of getting to know a different area of New York. To learn about the interesting history behind the Chelsea market really added to this pleasant experience, as well as the enthusiastic engagement of the guide. |

| My wife and I had a great time. The guide was informative with a great sense of humor. We had previously taken the Greenwich tour 4 1/2 years ago and enjoyed this tour even more. The food was very satisfying and met our need for lunch. The 3 hours passed quickly and the walking was easy. We highly recommend this tour to anyone. We come to NYC about once or twice a year primarily for the Broadway shows but have been trying to explore new areas each time we come. This was an excellent introduction to the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking area. We plan on taking it again with our four children (all grown) and will encourage any of our friends to take it as well when they visit NYC. |

| I thought the tour was interesting, including the historical perspective of the Market and Meatpacking district. I was expecting to try a bit more food and I thought that there wasn't much food (I wasn't quite full at the end of the tour- and I don't need a lot of food), especially for the cost of the tour. Also, our guide was very strict about not buying while on the tour, which I understand to a certain extent. But, especially if people are still hungry, I think this rule can be a bit more flexible. I also think a wonderful addition to the tour would be a quick tour of the Food Network. |

| We took the tour on a friends recommendation who had visited the market just two weeks before us. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour, our guide was very enthusiastic (I wish I could remember his name) and provided us with great details and very interesting facts. He was very knowlegable about the tour he gave and he even gave us an added bonus through Greenich village. We ended our tour with him in a freinds beautiful garden for our dessert. |

| This was a great tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and A LOT of fun. The food tastings were great. My only criticism would be that, when we bought our tickets, we were asked about any food allergies, however, our tour guide seemed not to have been informed of our dietary issues. It wasn't a big deal though, because there was so much food available, we were able to work around it. |

| My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Chelsea Market and the surrounding area. The tour included a stop at a biker bar, spotting transvestite prostitutes, and quick stops into some very fine area restaurants. The tour leader was informative and colorful -- quite delightful to listen to. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone hoping to get a unique perspective into one of New York's overlooked tourist areas. It is definitely off the beaten path! |
