This tour was fabulous! Our tour guide Bobby, possessed a wealth of information about the Chelsea Market as well was the shops and restaurants in the Meatpacking District. His enthusiasm and charm went a long way with our group! The foods we sampled which were generous in portion and delicious. I can't wait to take the other tours your company offers! |

Even if you only have a couple of days in NYC, make sure you book this tour and meet Kurt, the fabulous tourguide and you'll have a brilliant time including some really good food and lots of laughter. He's brilliant, he made this tour very special. If you want to challenge him, tell him you have a really awkward name, he remembers all names within 10 sec and then includes them throughout the tour. The 3 hours seemed to be passing by and he tried to show us lots of places, even though they didn't have agreements. So we ended up going into empty bars and night clubs, into hotel bars having the best view over NYC and my personal highlight of the show, you get to see some very cool funky modern toilets...with loads of buttons to press (make sure you ask him to see this).
It's a great door of the chelsea market, mainly indoors (in case it's raining or cold) and definitly worth the time & money. |

This was our first visit to NYC and I have to say this was one of the highlights of the trip. Our tour guide was great. He knew plenty of information about the area, food, and the merchants. He really made us feel comfortable and we were very pleased with everything we saw. I would do this again. |

My husband & I went on a Fri. 12 noon tour, it was a surprise for his b-day. We are from Long Island and go into the city often, it was so nice to do something different than Midtown shopping, sightseeing and the theatre. We really enjoyed learning about the area. The tour guide Kurt was wonderful, he even sang Happy Birthday.
I would definately do it again, the food was great, the shops were amazing, we went back to the market on Sun. to bring stuff home. |

The tour of the old Nabisco factory turned food mart was a real find and a high spot in our trip.
Independently owned stores were operated by vendors who were friendly, and who provided generous samples of their products.
Our guide, Kurt, was exuberant, fun and knowledgeable about the area AND about cooking and high end restaurants.
The Chelsea area has been gentrified. It is a convivial place that just might be the perfect location to book a hotel on your next visit. |

Our tour guide was very knowledgable, but extended the tour longer than we expected, throwing off other plans we had. Also, the main portion of our tour was only in Chelsea Market and I think more variety, especially with the tasting, would have been nice. Recommended, but maybe for people really interested in history. |
