| The tour was well paced lead by an impressive tour guide with an incredible nack for names. The only suggestion I would make is that the tour ended back at the market. If we had ended back at the market, I believe we would have made some purchases. Great day overall. |

| We all enjoyed the tour of the Chelsea Market and its environs. This is a very interesting area and is already showing it's growth and popularity. Our guide, Sam, was fun and full of knowledge. Had I not committed to this tour, I probably would not have explored this area. There are some really fine restaurants in the neighborhood that I would definitely try when we go back. The food tours are a great source of entertainment while learning areas of new york. My only regret is not having an opportunity to tour the Food TV network just above the market. Hopefully, someday, the tour will be inclusive of this. |

| my family (husband and 2 kids, ages 12 and 16) have done 2 other of your tours, and this one was terrific. we were pleasantly surprised, and sam did a super job in many ways:
he learned each of our names right away (that's a daunting task)
he joked around while teaching us historical facts
his enthusiasm was contagious
he was great with all types of people (my kids, the int'l tourists, and all)
he made us feel comfortable and involved in the tour -- rather than being
lectured he involved each of us with eye contact and fun questions
cant wait til you guys offer more tours of the city -- how bout harlem area? or
arthur avenue? or lower east side? or even upper east/west manhattan?
we will sign up for every one -- we find it fun, informative, and yummy!
you do a great job and thank you again to sam from sam/emily/john/ellen |

Couple on a Date |
| This was our 2nd tour with Food Tours. We have already done the Village tour. Our tour guide both times was Kurt. We didnt request him the 2nd time but we were very lucky to get him again. He is extremely funny and very energetic. He talks throughout the tour and never sounds rehearsed at any point. He makes every stop a lot of fun. All the stops in the tour were great. I loved Eleni's Bakery. We even stopped there after the tour for some of their wonderful cupcakes.
After seeing the entire market, Kurt took us out into the neighborhood. Even without food samples, he made this section extremely interesting.
We recommend this tour to everyone we meet. We have purchased this tour as a gift. We enthusiastically recommend this tour to everyone!! Kurt is the best!! |

| My expectations of the tour were to learn and see something about the history of the meatpacking district. Yes, the title of the tour says chelsea mkt /...... still I hoped to see more of the other part of the title. Instead most part of the tour was spend inside the market.
The market itself was nice, the food-tasting was OK, but if you don't mind missing some explanatory details and marketing of the shops you can do this on your own easily too.
Finally outside the market strolling around the area was nice and interesting.
Regarding the organization this was more than ok and very good arranged. The guide Sam was on-time and very entertaining, so a big plus for him!
Conclusion; all was well guided and organized, but I would not do it again. I will read other peoples comments first before booking a tour to be sure it will meet my expectations. |

| Enjoyed the tour and Sam, our tour guide.
Have taken the Greenwich Village tour and liked it better. Although the history of the Chelsea Market Building, and its owner/developer, is interesting, it's not as much fun as the history of the Village and its changing residents. |
